Yes I have, because it commemorates a pivotal moment in my life that will remain etched in my memory forever. This day marks the day our esteemed steemian friend, @ubikool, found his perfect match and tied the knot. Notably, it was also the day I made my debut as one of the groomsmen.

I woke up at 5:00 am that morning to the soothing sound of raindrops hitting my metal roof, but my initial excitement quickly gave way to concern that the inclement weather might disrupt the day's plans. However, I utilized the unexpected downtime to tackle some indoor tasks in preparation for the 1:00 pm wedding ceremony. When the rain subsided around 11am, I seized the opportunity to pick up my traditional attire from the dry cleaner, feeling relieved that the weather had finally cooperated.

Upon returning home with my attire, I quickly got ready and hailed a taxi, which took approximately 15 minutes to reach the designated meetup point. Upon arrival, I joined the other groomsmen, who were already waiting. We promptly departed to ensure timely arrival at Nsit-Atai Local Government Area, where the bride's family compound, and the wedding ceremony, awaited.

Following a 30-minute drive, we arrived at Nsit-Atai Local Government Area, where we were warmly received and accommodated in a private suite, as customary tradition dictates. A sumptuous spread of local delicacies and refreshments was lavishly presented to us. The groom subsequently joined our convivial gathering, and we shared a delightful meal together, seated around the table.

Following the delightful meal, we adorned ourselves in traditional marriage attire, poised for the groom's grand entrance. As his name was announced, our vibrant cultural song filled the air, and we escorted him onto the stage with dignified fanfare, dancing in unison to the rhythmic beats. With the groom seated in majestic splendor, the bride was summoned for her grand entrance. Accompanied by her loved ones and friends, she made a breathtaking arrival onto the stage, the same way we did to the groom.

The bride presented a glass of palm wine to her parents, expressing her heartfelt appreciation and seeking their blessings for the union. The groom similarly honored his parents with the traditional gesture. Having secured the benevolent blessings of both families, the couple proceeded to exchange sacred marital vows and rings, sealing their commitment to one another.

The wedding ceremony concluded on a joyful note with a heartfelt closing prayer, paving the way for a vibrant celebration. The atmosphere transformed into a dazzling dance scene, filled with laughter, music, and merriment, as guests and the happy couple took to the dance floor.
