Hello friends how are you all doing today it's a great day and I'm happy to participate in this interesting contest debate about which fuel is better for the environment thanks to @sahmie for organizing this debate contest.

So often centers around traditional fossil fuels such as coal, oil,
natural gas and the renewable energy sources which is solar, wind, hydroelectric, and also geothermal energy let me now list out some advantages and disadvantages of each of them let's get started.

^{Fossil Fuels here are the advantages:}

First is the reliable energy source and relatively cheap and abundant another one is also well-established infrastructure for extraction and distribution

^{Disadvantages:}

First is major contributors to air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions
And Non-renewable, leading to resource depletion
Risk of environmental disasters during extraction and transportation so that is oil spills.

^{So now is the Renewable Energy Sources
advantages}

Environmentally friendly which producing little to no air pollution or even greenhouse gas emissions and renewable and sustainable lastly is lower operational costs in the long run.

^{Disadvantages}

Initial high costs for infrastructure and installation
Intermittent energy production that is solar and wind energy depend on weather conditions.
Again is use and potential impact on ecosystems that is hydropower dams.

Well, so my dear steemians about selecting environment friendly fuel then renewable energy sources clearly have upper hand in terms of environmental impact and i stand in that.

And in addition to this renewable energy resources contribute much less greenhouse gas emissions than fossil fuels and indirectly fight with climate change. Fossil fuels are known to release high levels of carbon dioxide and other types of pollutants into the atmosphere allowing them to contribute towards causes like global warming, air pollution, undesired respiratory health effects among others.

So conversely, renewable energy technologies used to produce electricity have low emissions or zero emissions, resulting in a net decrease in the greenhouse gas footprint of the entire electric generation and power delivery system as i already stated above.
