In your words, what do you understand by the term CAREER?

In my understanding career can be said to be the path or profession, in which one is trained to make progressive achievement in the profession or business, or in simple terms a field of study someone decides or chooses to be trained in to become a professional in that field of study such as, a medical doctor, engineer etc.

Looking back, what career choice did you dream of having, and why?

Growing up as a child I wanted to become an engineer, this was triggered by the continuous search of trying to fix spoilt electrical appliances at home also my dad was a trained electrician, so I had few opportunities to follow him out to do some electrical jobs and it really interested me, and I wanted to venture more into it but now the passion was raised in the sense that I wanted to know how cars are being made and I also wanted to know how planes can fly, fast forward the early part of my life after college, my dad sat me down and asked me what I wanted to study I told him aromatic engineering, he didn’t say anything I had to make research on my own and I found out that the field of study or the career path I wanted almost all or none of the institution in my country had it as a course of study, so along the line, I had to pick mechanical engineering since they are all related.

Why I wanted engineering as my path or field of study because I loved the idea of how cars are made and I wanted to know more about it. So basically, the reason why I wanted to do engineering was because I had the passion and the drive for engineering.

Did you achieve your desired Career or you are still working towards it?

Long story short I got into a higher Institution to study engineering, but not mechanical engineering, which was heartbreaking for me, I still had to study agricultural engineering in school, I would say the desired career path I wanted was not achieved because I had to study agricultural engineering instead, I’m not currently working towards achieving that for now because I picked up a skill during school and trying to get myself better in that skill which is photography. If the opportunity to go down that part comes my way again, which is to do mechanical engineering I’m open cause no knowledge is a waste, we learn every day, and the man who is ready to learn would surely be great.

Conclusion
On the verge of trying to achieve our dreams and goals, we must ensure that there is a laid down plan on how to go about it, and always keep our hearts open to learning along the way also, because no knowledge is a waste. I will like to invite @sirsayso1, @moyeon and @rasel009 to join me in this contest.

Choosing a career is such an exciting journey! It’s important to pick something that not only sparks your interest but also offers room for growth and fulfillment. I totally agree with the idea of following your passion. For example, if you’ve always been drawn to animals and their well-being, veterinary care could be an amazing option.

If you're considering a career in veterinary medicine, there are plenty of resources that can help you get started. Websites like https://www.veterinaryschoolsu.com/ offer detailed info on various veterinary schools, what they offer, and how to get your foot in the door.
