Skill is very important in everybody's life, because of how the country is now, sometimes you will graduate from university still with no work.

Yes, it is advisable to send a child to learn skills at a tender age, but that doesn't mean that the child will not be going to school.

So I think it is good to send a child to go and learn skills at a tender age; when I was a child, my mum sent me to go and learn some skills, so whenever I returned from school, I would change my school uniform and start going to where am working.

So it is very advisable because the skills that I learned at a tender age have been helping me a lot.

When I entered the high institution, I did not depend on my parents to give me the everything that I needed because I was making little money from the skills I learned when I was still very young.

In everything in life, there must be advantages and disadvantages.
So here are some advantages of sending a child to learn skills at a tender age.

Advantage

1. when you send a child to learn skills at a tender age, it will make the child very happy because the child will not only be focusing his or her mind on education, but the child will enjoy it whenever he or she grows up.

2. It will make the child to be independent: when the child is of age to be doing things, he or will not be asking for money because he or she already has what is giving him money, and there is always a special joy that comes from your heart whenever you do things by your self without asking your parents to assist you financially.

3. They make kids more employable.

4. They build up their self-esteem

Disadvantage

1. The child will be very confused because the child will be going to school and at the same time going to learn skills.

So the stress is going to be much.

1. Sometimes it looks like we are wasting our resources because the child might not pay attention to what the boss is teaching; all his or her attention will be on school because he or she might have a lot of friends that are going to school.

2. It will make the child lose interest in school because he or she started learning skills on time.

When I was 10 years old, I learned how to operate a computers, like Microsoft Word, Excel, and other packages on a computer.

I thank my parents so much for sending me to go and learn this skill because the skills I learned at a tender age have been very helpful to me.
