INTRODUCTION
Hello friends, it is a privilege for me to join this debate organized by @sahmie, I will love to invite my friends to join me in the contest, @okere-blessing, @patjewell, @goodybest.
privacy and security intersect in the digital world, and finding the right balance between the two is important for protecting individuals rights and making sure that the integrity of digital systems. Laws, technology advancements, and best practices play an important role in achieving this balance and addressing the challenges of digital privacy and security.
How do privacy and security intersect in the digital world?
Privacy and security are two significant components in the digital world that intersect and often disagree with each other. Privacy involve a person being able to protect his or her personal information from being assessed by individual without taking permission from him meanwhile security required an action in which can be used to protect and also promote the systems and networks from hacking, thats cybecriminals.
What are the risks and benefits of prioritizing privacy or security?
Prioritizing privacy over security may lead to flaws in the system or let me say network that is intended to cause harm hackers can gain access to someone personal information without taking permission.
Meanwhile in the aspect of prioritizing security over privacy this may result of tracking measures that is intrude on individuals without them knowing.
Let's see for example
They can monitor all your calls and messages without you knowing.
Some of them go as far as installing locations tracker on your device so as to monitor your movement.
Some with hidden camera around them, just as what my pastor said yesterday in church when he went to Aso Rock to meet with the president of the country, he was captured without him knowing, that he cane to know about it when he reaches tge final gate to tge presidential lounge, that his picture of what he was wearing appears on the screen. This means the hidden camera was place maybe on their chest, or their cap.
The risks of prioritizing one over the other are very clear, with potential consequences ranging from data breaches and identity theft to government surveillance and breaches of civil liberties.
How do laws affect the balance between privacy and security online?
Laws play a very important aspect by trying their best to ensure that there is a control when it comes to Privacy and security online.
individual took internet to be their best means of communication and a entertainment which this can be true because there is no other means the individual involved keep increasing every day. With that Laws makes sure they have a balance between privacy and security online, you don't just put on social media what ever you want, the law now set boundaries of what is expected of you, not every thing is accepted online, there are some information they will permit you to publish and there are some they don't approve, so I love what they are doing in terms of privacy and security.
Can technology advancements maintain security while respecting privacy?
Advancements in technology help to provide opportunities so as to help in maintaining security while they still make sure that individuals have their privacy in protecting individual data and communications from online cybecriminals by upgrading their privacy in technologies, they should be able to carry information that doesn't damage the owner identity, they should be able to protect individuals information with all amounts of carefulness.
How can individuals and organizations handle the challenges of digital privacy and security?
Individuals and organizations can handle the challenges of digital privacy and security by implementing best practices, by making sure that they update the security software regularly, they should be able to create a password that is not easy to detect, they should develop a password that no one can crack it.
Another thing that I will say is that they should be able to educate their employees about cyber security risk.
Then the organization should also organize by making sure they use strong passwords, and they should educate their employees about cybersecurity risks. Organizations can also organize privacy outcome review so as to identify and reduce risks in their operations.

As individuals, we have the right to security and privacy, not only online but also in our personal lives. Through this, we ensure human dignity.
As for the digital world, the days when online privacy was a myth are long gone. It is now a reality, and we need to be wide awake.

Thank you ma'am for your support, is true we all need security, let me share one story with you, someone was owning my friend and she asked me to accompany her, reaching there, the debtor wasn't around so his landlord came out shouting that who open his house gate for us, I was embarrassed, and the next thing I heard from him was that he is so security conscious.
So we all need security in life but then I was just focusing on the Internet own.
