SFS Contest Picture of the Day

It was on my birthday and this time I was with my parents in Abuja because we were on break from school. Usually almost all my birthday's are celebrated in school along side my course mates and friends gracing the occasion and making it fun.
I never knew that this time I will be celebrating it at home. So on this faithful day, after the usual routine in the house even though it was a bit different because my parents wanted me.to feel so special since it was my day to celebrate.
It all started when we woke up from bed and my parents during the morning devotion section decided to sing a birthday song for me and there after prayed over me and told me to make a wish of what I will ant them to do for since it was a special day for me.
At first I didn't know what to say or ask because they have done more than enough for me. So I told them that whatever they feel like doing for me they should just go ahead because I never expected anything again from them considering how far they have always helped me to grow.
My dad after having a little conversation with my mother said he is going to sponsor my outing today so I should prepare so that during the evening I can go out for shopping in ShopRite or the shopping mall very close to us.

I was so delighted when I heard those words. I did I have to do and then I rested and during the evening period when the sun was a bit down myself and my little brother dressed up and then I collected the money my father promised and we went out to get some few things.
It was already night but there was street light all over the area so I told my brother to snap me some pictures before we go and buy what we needed and then go back home. That was how I got these pictures that I have shared with you all in this post.
I took this pictures as a memorial for this day because it is one of the best birthday I have celebrated in recent times. The birthday was unique to me because I received the blessing from my both parents physically unlike the days that I will be in school that they will just call to wish me well.
I was so fulfilled because of the show of love and care from family and friends on this very day and that is the main reason I have decided to share this joyful day with you all.

You just wrote a very good story on how you celebrated your birthday, reading it was a fun, but I was expecting more than the photos you shared, any ways half bread is better than known, back to your story when you said the birthday was celebrated at home unlike before that you do it at school am just imagining the kind of happiness in you that day, that should be one of the happiest day of your life despite the small celebration but blessings really matters a lot for those who knows the value, when I came across when you said your parents asked you to make a wish I was thinking you will blow off their feet with so much,but I came to realize that you still have the heart of humanity in you, people like you are rare, nice write up dear wish you success in this contest, and happy birthday in aria's, big hug 💗
