SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 24

I was able to remember something or an event after I checked some pictures in my phone. I could remember few years ago when I went to church and got an opportunity to take so many pictures. It was mother's day celebration in my church and I was very excited that just as everyone present was. Mother's day celebration in my church is always colourful and unique.

The mass was still ongoing but it was time for the mother's activities for the day, they started their activities before the mass ended and continued it outside after the mass finally ended. So while they were doing their initial activities,my friends and I who are also steemians came outside. We were monitoring the smaller boys that were in charge of charcoal wining that day, is something we do in the catholic church.

I can remember how we took so many pictures that day wow it was so thrilling. Our Reverend father's house was still on progress so we went inside the compound of the house to take pictures together. First of all I'm took pictures of my friends, we were using one of their phone as I wasn't with my phone that day. I pose with the younger brother while the elder one took pictures of us.

After taking like three shots with him the three of us took selfies together before we later decided to snap the church environment. The ground of the compound was quite muddy as it was recently filled with mud that period, yes it was last year April or so. You need to see the way this house looks now, so beautiful as everything in the house was completed this year, they have painted it as well.

I love the way I also dressed that day, just a very simple dress, my mum bought a new blue trouser for me in February that year and the day I took this picture was the second day I was wearing the trouser. The colour is sparkling and I don't have it anymore because am now bigger than it. My younger brother will start wearing it soon.
