Village economic growth is much better than in urban areas
Dear steemian...
Differences in character and culture really support us to become a strong community on this platform. What if I tell the story of a group of farmers in Aceh, this is about the culture of the farming community where they have spent 3 months to improve their economic and financial sector as a small community. The watermelon harvest season has just started after 80 days of planting. We admit defeat in the agricultural sector compared to the country of poets and thinkers. Starting from the preparation of fertile land, long harvest time and lack of agricultural technology.
A few days ago I had to be ready to become a house security guard because my wife and children had to visit one of our family in Grong Grong District, Pidie Regency. It is about 4 hours away by minibus from Lhokseumawe City.
I am often busy with my work at the office, this condition makes my family rarely get the opportunity to travel and relax. I have to be fair and give them a chance to relieve their boredom and stress. My wife and children have to enjoy the outdoors for a few days.
While in Pidie District, my family sent many interesting moments and stories about the farming community there via WhatsApp messages. There is a huge difference between urban and rural activities. We only expect a lot from our salary after working 26 days a month, while rural farming communities have large agricultural land.
They lack technological facilities, but every year there are two kinds of crops that make money for their lives. After harvesting the rice, in the next 3 months they will harvest watermelons and yellow beans.
The economic growth of rural communities is far greater than that of urban areas. This is because spending on buying basic necessities such as rice, vegetables and spices is very small. People who live in rural areas also spend very little money to pay their vehicle parking tax.
Nutrition and health problems are also much better for those who live in rural areas, people there on average have large yards to raise livestock, the air is better every day because it is far from air pollution and smoke from burning motorized vehicles and factories.
The village where our family lives is very far from the sea and the beach, the price of fish is uncertain and even more expensive than the price of meat. For this reason, their family is more concerned with raising cattle, goats and chickens. If they have to sell the cows, then the goats or chickens will be used as delicious food for consumption.
The way they get money is so easy and convenient. They do not have to pay high fees to rent agricultural equipment during the planting season and harvest season, because the culture of the people there is mutual cooperation among fellow farmers.
At this time my wife and children have returned home, they only brought beautiful stories in the village and some crops for me. But stories about life in the village are more beautiful than enjoying the harvest.
