One of the recent Splinterlands news is a mini-set of cards was released to replace the sold out Essence Orbs.

They are known as ΛZMΛRÉ Dice and include 6 new summoners (one for each splinter), several monsters, and some new abilities.

Splinterlands is a dynamic game and everyone who wants to remain competitive in high-level battles should always be looking to update their decks.

Thinking about it, one of the first Dice cards I sought to maximize was the splint summoner of Earth: Mylor Crowling.

He is a rare summoner who adds Thorns ability to all monsters on his team which makes him extremely strong against teams with a predominance of a melee attack.

In low mana battles in the Aim True ruleset, choosing the Life splint with the summoner Tyrus Paladium has always been one of the best options with a double Sneak strategy, adding the neutral card Elven Cutthroat along with the Feral Spirit.

aimtrue.png Aim True:

Melee and Ranged attacks always hit their target.

This team is strong in this ruleset because besides the armor protection + 1 for all cards, we are sure that the blows will always hit the opponents no matter the level of speed and abilities that these enemies have.

To protect against this type of strategy it was necessary to choose a special card to protect the rear, usually a card with Thorns and/or Retaliate, such as Crystal Werewolf, Enchanted Defender, or Hydra, etc.

But now with the arrival of the amazing Mylor this task has become easier since all the monsters under his command have Thorns, see the battle:

Battle Link: @marianaemilia versus @tendershepard

Realize that in this battle the task was even easier due to the Triage ability of the Khmer Princess card that regenerated the life of my Tower Griffin in the last position.

As well as the Failed Summoner's Strengthen and Demoralize abilities, increasing 1 hit point for all allies and decreasing the melee damage of enemies by -1 meant that the opponent did not have the slightest chance.

Mylor Crowling can also be very effective in several other situations, especially in the ruleset Up Close & Personal: Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.

Soon I will be bringing more examples of notable battles of this and other summoners and monsters of the new promotional collection AZMARE Dice.
