Contest announcement: Share your message on the Vesak Poya Day

Peace and Happiness for everyone!

So, once again the most sacred days of Buddhists, have been arrived. It's Vesak day which commemorates the birth, enlightenment (Nibbana), and death (Parinirvana) of Gautama Buddha.

We used to celebrate the festival in a very grand way. But this year, due to the Covid pandemic most of those traditions have been restricted. I kinda like this way. Now we have got a chance to celebrate it in a simple manner.

So, this is your chance to discuss your feelings on this sacred day. Let's set our paths to a better world!!

You Can Include

• How you celebrated the festival this year?
• What are the special memories with you?
• What is your idea about the real meaning of Vesak Poya Day?
• Any new discipline you need to practice
• Your message for society

and anything that is related.

• All entries must be your original(Try to use your own experiences as much as possible)

• You can participate in Sinhala or English language

• Your entry must be at least 250 words

• Only Sri Lankan members are allowed to participate

• Make sure you make your entry in Steem Sri Lanka community

• Make sure to leave the link to your entry post in the comment section of this post, to officially enter the contest

• One person can post only one entry for the contest

• Any plagiarism approach will make you ban from the contest
