Two extraordinary youtubers to follow | Sinhala
A few weeks ago I shared about, My Favorite YouTube channels!. This is an extension of that. We all know that there are a few restrictions to follow in creating content on Youtube. So, the topics and videos here are unlimited. Even though this is a knowledge hub, we should be smart enough to choose what gives value to ourselves. The YouTube algorithm performs in a way not suggesting what's best for people, but what's made them stay in the app.
So, most YouTubers create thousands of useless content just for sake of receiving more views and money. This is very pathetic situation, especially in Sri Lanka. Gossips! Gossips! and Gossips! We can't rely on the news broadcasted by the biggest media channels in the country. With the language barrier, most people limit to this small circle of channels.
Meanwhile, there are some YouTubers who actually try to create a revolutionary change in people's mindsets, share their knowledge, and motivate the nation. There are a few common features about them.
- Focus on quality than quantity
- Have a genuine fan base
- Not focus on views or subscribers more than the knowledge they share
- Do research, find things, and put large effort to create content
- Try to develop the logical thinking of people

Mr. Malinda is a walking library I must say. He mainly focuses on Science and Technology field. His passion for this subject is enormous. The channel was created in 2013 but still has 330K subscribers. Anyway, the content that he has created is really interesting, especially about space. I have joined some of his live sessions, where he genuinely answers questions raised. It shows he is more than just recording videos.
He was silent for a few months and now again back with some different approach. His recent podcast, shows his positive mindset and his motivation level. There is a lot to learn from this man.

Joined in 2016 and today he crossed the 300K mark. He creates content on both modern technologies as well as vintage hidden technology. He is a personal development coach.
What I love about him is, he doesn't force us to believe him blindly. He does big research, shares content, shares references, and makes us think about them. The way he presents the details is really interesting. Now he continues a series of videos on different topics. Pyramids, Aliens, movie and book reviews, eastern philosophies, Buddhism, etc.
These guys may not be perfect. But they try something. There are no completely black or white people. All are in between. So, always focus in a neutral manner and use facts. That's what they are trying to make!
