Weekly CRICKET Review - Vii | England vs Pakistan 🔥🔥
Well! It's amazing scenes in Australia. England and Pakistan are advanced into the finals of the T20 world cup to be played on Sunday in Melbourne.
From the start of the tournament, predictions were all around from the experts. Australia was on top on home soil, India was badly looking for another title under the new Captaincy, and England, the white ball magicians in recent years, the battle was looking good. But things changed rapidly with unexpected upsets and the way boys approached. Well, that's the beauty of t20 cricket and this tournament.
As I mentioned the last week, Quick review - Vi, non of the teams hadn't qualified to the semis even after 36 matches from 42. So, let's see what happened after.
SUPER 12 matches - Group A
- All the hopes were centered on the last 3 matches (Sri Lanka vs England, New Zealand vs Ireland, and Australia vs Afghanistan). New Zealand became the first to secure their seat in the semis after defeating Ireland comfortably.

- But Afghanistan gave a really good fight against Australia, especially Rashid but it wasn't good enough. So, the sake of England and Australia was in the last match between Sri Lanka and England. We saw Aussie fans supporting Sri Lanka. But anyway, Sri Lanka lost the match and England qualified.
SUPER 12 matches - Group B
- At the start, Pakistan lost both matches against India and Zimbabwe. South Africa won both against Bangladesh and India. So, Pakistan was almost out of the tournament. But it's amazing how they held their nerve and come back strongly.

- They defeated South Africa. But unexpectedly South Africa lost against the Netherlands. Pakistan team was really lucky at that moment, and once again suffer for South Africans. What are they lacking? Talent or Luck?
SEMI-FINALS
- The first one was between New Zealand vs Pakistan in Sydney. Pakistan pacers did a great job restricting NZ to 152 runs. And finally, Babar and Rizwan showed their class at the right moment with a 105 runs partnership with both scoring half-tons. They won it comfortably by 3 wickets.

Did you know that, this is the third time Pakistan reached to finals? And once again feel bad for Kane and Kivis.
Today's match between India and England will be remembered for India for a long time. India bat first and put 169 runs on the board. Hardik played an incredible inning. It looked like a competitive target. But not for these two.
England's Jos Buttler and Alex Hales celebrating victory over India
Joss the Boss and Hales hammered Indian bowlers all around the park. There were no mercy by these two. They won the match by 10 wickets chasing 170 within 16 overs. Pure class and power show. For me Jossy is the greatest white ball cricketer for England.
The show is not over yet. Pakistan will meet England in Melbourne on next Saturday. I can't wait to see the battle between Pakistan pacers and England batters in Aussie pitches!
So who will the world cup this year? Give your predictions.

I've learned that it is after all true.. It is NEVER over until the last ball is bowled.
What better place to end the series, the MCG!
Pakistan will for sure hear me shout.
