SL-Charity Phase III - Much needed help - 25% for SL-Charity

The SL-Charity project was very helpful to lots of people who needed help throughout the year. People fall into some helpless situations due to unexpected situations. That’s why projects like SL-Charity are very important. Actually, nothing is worth more than love and kindness. That's why we started the SL-Charity project with the aim of helping people in need.

Last week I was faced with an emotional situation. One of my old friend’s grandmother came to meet me requesting some help. It was about her daughter’s son. He is one year older than me. 28 months before, he had an accident. Now he is in a very helpless situation. He can hear us talking, but he can not respond. When you see the photos, you will understand the situation. He needs a very special care every bit of time.

His grandmother explained everything to me and I became really sensitive about it. I thought if i can help him from our SL-Charity project, it will be really helpful to them. After the approval from our community, my sister and I went to buy some necessary items for him. His mother gave us a list of necessary items, so it was not that much hard. For goods, the cost was 7428 lkr. We got to know that he has an operation to do in the coming days. So, another 15,000lkr was given to him.

I think everyone in our Steem-SriLanka community should be grateful because because of them, he will be getting better. We do not know what will happen to us tomorrow, so let’s help those who need help whenever possible. I would like to thank everyone who made this possible.
