||Capsicum|| Seedlings till harvesting|| 2 January to 25 May||
Capsicum is native to the Americas but cultivated worldwide. Depending on the fruit, capsicum plants have a variety of names. The spiciest variety is called chili pepper. The large, medium form is called bell pepper. Depending on color it has 3 color varieties, green, red, and yellow. The most common one is the green one.
I am fond of gardening. I have different types of fruit, flower, and vegetable plants. Capsicum is the favorite one that I have and the variety is red. I usually have my seeds from the previous year's yield.
I sowed the seed in late December on onetime cups. After 4-5 days the seedlings emerge. As for transplanting it needs at least 20 days or 3 weeks, as the plant's roots are hard enough for serving the stress. Around 45-60 days the flowers start blooming. Another 45-60 days for the fruit to mature.
For the collection of seeds, you need to settle for another 15-20 days as the fruit ripped. After the fruit gets ripen you can collect the seeds from the fits for next year's cultivation.
There is no extra measure for your home garden fruit or vegetable cultivation. If you have problems with insects or any pathogen, I recommend you apply organic compounds like turmeric powder, onion juice, neem oil, etc. As you cultivate your home garden for fresh foods you mustn't apply chemical compounds. You can easily apply organic compounds for healthy foods.
