FINDING JOY IN LITTLE THINGS
For me finding joy in simple moments means appreciating even the smallest things.
It is about discovering something special in ordinary things. It’s being happy by turning a flaw into a strength. This is a way to connect with yourself finding your inner peace.
You start liking yourself and enjoy your own company.
I chose this topic because I feel that people need to understand it.
I want people to think about this and not break their hearts over small things but instead find happiness in them.
I want people to appreciate the little parts of their lives. I want people to fully enjoy each moment with joy and make their lives beautiful and seek happiness even in small things.
Today as I was sitting and thinking I just remembered how we used to get ten rupees as Eidi and we would go crazy with happiness.
For us even those ten rupees held great value. If we were asked whether we wanted one red note or five ten-rupee notes we would prefer the five ten-rupee notes because in our eyes those five notes were more than one red note.
But if we look at today's kids they do not see any value in a ten-rupee note. They think What can we even do with this?
Now they care only about the green note. Why is that? Why have people become like this today?
In my opinion we should learn that whether the note is big or small if it is given with love it should be accepted with joy, it should be respectful. And we should not consider it insignificant but rather think What if I got nothing at all?
Something is always better than nothing and believe me this positive mindset will make you happy knowing that having something is better than having nothing. I find great happiness in this perspective.
To me mindfulness means that mental peace lies in staying happy. Conflicts and arguments only destroy our minds.
I want to share a moment with you. Just as you read my post yesterday about how I got two days off and I mentioned how happy I was you can imagine how much joy I felt over such a small thing.
You can guess how I found such ordinary news so delightful. I lived that moment and enjoyed it to the fullest. So I believe one should enjoy even the smallest of joys.
Mental peace is extremely important in today’s modern world.
Mindfulness helps us reduce stress which prevents us from falling into anxiety and depression.
It keeps us calm and teaches us to live in the present. Staying happy improves both our mental and physical health and we feel more satisfied overall.
And overall I just wanna say that Mindfulness has improved your life by helping you stay connected to the present moment boosting your emotional health and enabling you to enjoy and value the small joys in life and appreciating the little moments.
Your post truly highlights the current environment, how people and even kids today have become so materialistic. It's really sad to say that parents are teaching them that if someone gives them 10 rupees, they're not good, but if someone gives them 500 rupees, they're the good one and deserve respect. I've heard this myself, and I don't understand why people are becoming like this. Why aren’t they happy with small things? Back in our childhood, even 5 rupees made us happy, but these kids today, even 100 rupees seem too little for them.

Peace of mind is most important for survival. Without it, I would never be able to experience happiness even if you are very comfortable.
