A Day in My Life: Juggling Chores, Projects, and Excitement || 10% Beneficiary set to @steem-nations
How are you all? I hope you are doing well. Let's spend a day in my life with me. Since it’s a day off from university, I wake up peacefully, usually around 11 AM. I don’t prepare breakfast myself; my mom always makes breakfast for everyone. Today was a bit busy because we had to get some house chores done, and along with that, I had to work on my FYP and complete reports for other projects as well.
After having breakfast, I cleaned the entire kitchen. Then my mom asked me to cook lunch, so I thought of making something that could also be eaten at dinner, so I prepared chicken karhai because mom was busy. My mom is a great designer, and she sews our clothes herself. Since she was busy sewing my suit, I took care of the house chores.
Now that some family events are going to start soon, the preparations have begun. For instance, we have a family gathering coming up, so my mom is stitching a new suit for that as well. My cousin’s wedding events will also begin in just a few months. Today, I pulled out all my heavy dresses, tried them on, and decided which dress to wear at which event. I thought of altering a few dresses because I already have plenty of heavy dresses, so there’s no need to get new ones made.
Right now, we have a family gathering, two weddings, and one wedding of my university fellow coming up, making it a total of three weddings. I’m very excited because it’s been almost three years since we had any wedding events in our family, and now they’re all happening at once.
Anyway, I sorted all my dresses in one place and then sat down to work on my FYP. After that, I cleaned the kitchen again, did my skincare routine, and then had my "me time," which is very precious to me. In between, I also prepared this post. For me, every day is special.
