Contest : My favorite movies/series

This is my first post that I am sharing here in your community, and I am very happy about it because I always enjoy discovering new communities, which I believe are the true enrichment of Steemit.

Moreover, I found it very interesting to participate in this contest, because I enjoy watching movies. Even though in my country many people, including myself, enjoy watching the movie The House, I sometimes like going to the cinema to watch it as well, because I think these places of sharing should continue to exist.

What kind of movies do you like to watch, and what is your favorite movie or series of all time?

Honestly, there was a time when I often watched fantasy films. For example, I kept rewatching The Lord of the Rings, but in recent years I’ve started to prefer lighter films, like funny comedies or even animated cartoons. Even though I'm an adult, I still enjoy them.

For instance, the last movie I went to see was Despicable Me 4, a comedy that made me laugh a lot. In fact, I haven't missed any of the previous movies in the series. I think it's important to watch light and funny films as a way to escape from the stresses of life, which can sometimes be overwhelming.

Tell us something about the story of your favorite movies or web series.

As I mentioned earlier, I enjoy comedies. In Italy, for example, many are produced, and around Christmas, I often go to the cinema to watch them. There was also a time when I got into TV series, but I prefer more historical ones. For example, I watched the entire series The Crown, which is a TV show about the history of the British Royal Family. I was mainly interested in the historical aspect, as I am a big history enthusiast.

What messages do you take from your favorite films/series, and which ones do you prefer not to follow?

As I mentioned earlier, I look for something lighthearted that can make you smile, even when life isn't going so well. I really don’t like horror movies at all; in fact, I'd be too scared to watch them. I also don’t like violent TV shows, especially those on Netflix, which in some cases are unfortunately watched by teenagers who then try to imitate the scenes they see in these series.

I believe the world doesn’t need more violence but rather more laughter and happiness!

I hope you found my answers to the questions interesting, and I hope you understood my point of view on movies and TV series, a hobby I enjoy practicing quite a bit. Although recently, I’ve been watching a lot on YouTube, so I don't have much time left to dedicate to films and TV shows.
