It is been 3 years since I passed from college but I still feel like this place was like a prison for me . I have a love - hate relationship with college or it can be more hate than love. In fact it wouldn't be wrong to say that college was the worst part of my academic years. It traumatized me a lot and those two years were a real struggle

If someone ever asks me about a place I really hate in my life, I would mention these two years of my life and the name of my college. but yesterday i visit there because we needed our intermediate certificate in order to have some documentation we need to come back here.

I was a student of BAMM P.E.C.H.S Government College for Women 2019 to 2021. No doubt, it is one of the best women’s colleges in Karachi and admission here is based on merit. My admission was also based on merit in the field of Computer Science. However shortly after admission I realized that this was the first decision in my life that I deeply regret

But I used to laugh when I told people that I was at PECHS College and they would be impressed saying 'Wow, you’re in such a good college' It was just the name of the college that impressed them, but a government college is still just a government college

If I talk about the academics, building, or discipline, everything is very good here. But the worst thing about my college was the female teachers. I have never saw ruder teachers than the government teachers at this college. If you are studying in college without paying fees the teachers seem to think it is their duty to insult you.

Why i hate my college ?

I think I might have found only one teacher in this college who was very polite and extremly sweet . Otherwise, especially in the computer department, the teachers were not at all cooperative. They would insult students over small things, not understand others points of view torture students in the name of practical journals, force them to attend college, and insult them for any excuses they gave. It was the first time in my life I was shocked to see that teachers especially female teachers could be like this

But if I survived in this college it is because my two childhood friends from school were with me. If I have any good memory from this place, it is only about skipping classes with them having lunch together and hanging out around the college

image.png

A teacher like this can really damage a student's self confidence. I believe a good teacher is essential for a student's character building. But in these two years my self-confidence, public speaking, and student character were all destroyed. I went to college with a heavy heart because we were forced to attend classes

all the thing and memories were terrible So, during this 2 hour visit we revisited the college, refreshed some bad memories (since i dont have good memories )🙂 , got our documents attested in the admin office, and then headed back home.

I hope I never have to see this place again in my life, as it traumatized me for two years
🙂🙂

Why did I write all this?
I believe in being gentle with people, especially those who are younger or in a learning phase, like students. A good environment helps create a good student, and I learned what a positive attitude from teachers means when I went to university.

well thats all for today
THANKYOU

You had to go through such a difficult time in college. It is tough when a place meant for growth and learning becomes a source of negativity. I am glad you had your friends by your side to help you get through it.
