Technology || Technological Developments That Are Often Used Everyday
Friends, admins and all moderators of the beloved community. We can find technological progress and development in everyday life. In fact, it is not uncommon for us to use or utilize it. Technological development means that from time to time technology continues to develop in a more sophisticated and modern direction. This development is based on human innovation and creativity.
Technological development has spread widely and has entered the lives of even remote communities. Globalization helps the spread of technological development to various countries. As a result, technology is increasingly widely known and spread in human life.
We can see technological development from the differences in the use of tools in the past and present. For example, in the past, people used kentongan or beat the drum as a tool to provide information. However, currently information can be provided via the internet and social media.
Here are some examples of technological developments that are often used in everyday life, namely:
1. In the past, people used rickshaws pulled by horses and cows as land transportation. But now people can use motorbikes, cars, and buses as easier and faster land transportation.
2. In the past, people communicated by sending letters or leaving messages with other people. Now, sending messages can be done via social media, such as WhatsApp and others.
3. In the past, people used typewriters to do assignments or type text. But now this can be done using laptops, computers, and cellphones as well as printers.
4. For lighting at night, people used to light candles or oil lamps. However, since the development of technology, many people have switched to using lamps that are powered by electricity.
5. In the past, people washed clothes in the traditional way, either in the river or in their wells. This job has been made easier with the presence of washing machines thanks to the development of current technology.
6. Farmers in the past plowed their fields using the power of buffaloes and cows. Currently, with the development of technology, farmers have used machine tractors as a tool for plowing fields that is easier and faster.
But what we need to realize is that with the development of technology and the advancement of the times. Humans are increasingly facilitated in doing their daily work. So we also need to be grateful because everything we do and do today is getting easier with the presence of various technologies.
