Memorable Day - Visit to Bahria Adventure Land Theme Park

Hello everyone!

I visited a very cool place this Saturday with my family. Kids had a lot of fun so I thought to share the experience with you.

The cool place was,

Amusement Park - Bahria Town, Karachi.

Bahria town of Karachi is located at the outskirts of the city. It takes more than hour to travel there from the city center.

It opens at 3:00 pm in the afternoon. The weather was pleasant that particular day so we arrived there at the opening time.

Due to pandemic, we had to follow strict SOPs like wearing masks properly and use of sanitizers frequently. I don't like wearing masks in the fresh air but had to wear it in the congested and crowded places specially in the rides.

Before entering, we purchased tickets. They charged 2000pkr for one adult and 1000pkr for kids (5-11). My both sons are under 5 years so we got two adult tickets.

In one ticket, you can enjoy unlimited rides, unlimited times. Only indoor games are exclusive of the deal. This is a very reasonable package, I realized it after having a great experience there.

Along with tickets, we also got a map of the area. I was going to take its picture but my son has chewed it. 🤦‍♀️ So as an alternative, I have got a map screenshot from Internet. Please bear with the quality.

There are four zones:

• Dino land
• Indus Valley
• Kohkaaf
• Adventure Land

We first went to the Dino Land. My elder son is a huge fan of Dinosaurs so it was a treat for him. In Dino Land, there were no rides just sculptures of different kinds of Dinosaurs.

After the Dino Land, we moved towards Indus Valley. There were water slides there and artificial ocean waves. We were tempted to go there but avoided the waters in order to avoid any covid germs.

Next, there was Adventure Land, full of kids rides. I liked the fact that there were height measuring units installed near each ride. People were categorized for rides height wise.

My elder son enjoyed a lot of rides. He gets scared easily and is a very calm and careful child. I was surprised he sat on all the kid rides.

Next, the most thrilling zone was Kohkaf. Aladin, Cyclone, Rail Blazer (roller coaster), Power Drop (Free Fall) kind of rides were there.

Other thrilling rides were The Claw and Sindbad.

The place had many options for food like McDonald's and KFC. It offered a clean environment and with rest rooms available at every corner.
