Rejoining steemit.png

Hello my fellow steemers! I hope you all are in good health and doing great! So I had been out of sight for quite a while now, not posting and commenting anywhere on this platform. The last time I posted here was 3 months ago and since then I have just been struggling to remain active here, hence the disappearance.

Sometimes in life some things happen very unexpectedly. These are the things that are destined to come your way at a certain point in your life, especially when you are least expecting them. The same happened with me. Since the beginning of last year I had been trying to find a way to earn for myself but unfortunately due to lack of opportunities I failed each time.

Time went by and I was introduced to steemit by a good friend here. I was happy to join this platform and was having a good time working here, interacting with people and making new friends. Amid all this, one day I went to a local private school to enroll my daughter in it so that I could find time for myself to work peacefully on steemit, however, things did not go as planned. My daughter couldn't get admission in that school as she was underage whereas the same school offered me a job of teaching. Initially I was reluctant for obvious reasons but then I thought I would be able to manage everything cause I'm a freakin' superwoman. But of course, this was not the case. I failed terribly at managing family and work life together.

Teaching is a tough job and I’ve realized it requires sh*t tons of patience that I definitely lack. Honestly, teaching a bunch of little humans some basic concepts isn’t so hard. What's actually hard is to discipline them. To expect them to ‘behave’ a certain way and to deal with their tantrums and issues. So once I had to face with all these things, I realized that teaching is just not my cup of tea. sigh
However, I am grateful that this experience has taught me some great things too such as; new concepts, teamwork, how to deal with different kinds of people, work place ethics and etiquettes and most important of all, tolerance.

ANYWHOOO, now that my contract with this school is about to end, I have decided to focus just on steemit. So I’m excited to announce that I’m finally back on this wonderful platform and this time I’m here to stay for good. I really missed writing posts, participating in contests, doing assignments in cryptoacademy and engaging with my friends here.

Also, today when I logged into steemit after a long time, I noticed that some new additions have been made. One thing that really caught my eye was the newly proposed concept of 'Burning STEEM'. I'm really convinced and impressed by this new strategy and feel this is a great way to help STEEM reach great height and gain the popularity it deserves so I'm all for it! Therefore, I will now be taking part in burn STEEM by setting 25% beneficiary of all my posts payout to an account called null. Moreover, I will continue to maintain my #club100 status that I had been part of since the day I joined steemit and even before the idea of clubs was introduced.

Wishing great success to STEEM and prosperity to steemit and its users.
Happy steeming! :)

I am so happy to see you back. Already excited for your content.

#burnsteem25 is a very good initiative but it would only be effective if big whales also start doing it. Small users like us wouldn't even make a drop of contribution alone.

Thank you so much!

Hmm, you're right. It would really be effective if big accounts actively took part in this initiative but....you must've heard this quote;

Little drops of water make a mighty ocean

So let's keep doing our thing and hope for the best. :)

This is a one-time notice from SCHOOL OF MINNOWS, a free value added service on steem.
Getting started on steem can be super hard on these social platforms 😪 but luckily there is some communities that help support the little guy 😊, you might like school of minnows, we join forces with lots of other small accounts to help each other grow!
Finally a good curation trail that helps its users achieve rapid growth, its fun on a bun! check it out. https://plug.sh/somlanding/

First of all welcome back to this amazing platform. Hope you have a good time here again.

Second I agree with you it's very become tough for a lady who has a family to do work outside. In my opinion, I don't like this thing, after marriage, you should stay home and look after your home and children.

And lastly, you're superwoman every girl every mother every sister is a superwoman.

Nice diary keep sharing.

Thank you so much!

Yes, it sure is tough but not everyone is as privileged as we are. For some women it becomes their obligation to step out of the house.
Indeed, every woman is a super woman! <3
