suffering from my vicissitudes of fortune for 2 days
For past 2 days, I'm living a luckless life and suffering from the vicissitudes of fortune. Two days back everyone ate the club Sandwich from the canteen but only I got food poisoning.
Yesterday I fell off from the stairs and I couldn't clear the easiest quiz that I prepared a week before and I've only 0.75 marks less from passing that quiz :') I failed one CLO of the major subject.
my family was deciding to go for a trip and we decided the 10th of June because my exams were ending that day but the dates extended and my exams will be starting from 13th and I'm not going for a trip while my whole family would go 🙂 I really wanted to go, I haven't even stepped out of Karachi.
I came home today and I was craving for pasta, that's why I started making it for lunch. When the pasta was boiled and I was straining it, I got imbalanced and the EXTREMELY HOT water burnt my hands. and to be honest it hurt so much even it's still hurting 🥺

You might be thinking why my hands have the crystal, if you're Pakistani you already know when it burns we use toothpaste as an ointment immediately. I didn't know should I get some cold water on it or a toothpaste that's why I used the both.
Btw finally I ate the macaroni after struggling much. The good thing is it was delicious and perfect. Thank you for reading my luckless moment of last two days. Won't be saying hope you enjoyed reading :/

Constant ill luck once in a month or two is a thing I guess. Because I have also been through such situation where nothing goes well. I am sure this situation will be over soon. Its just for the time being. Its okay to have ill luck sometimes, don't get dis-heartened, Warisha! Just cheer up and whisper to ill luck 'you can't break me'. Heyy I hope your hand gets better soon. In case, God forbid, you burn any body part in the future again, remember not to use toothpaste or cold water on a burnt body part as it will further aggravate the tissue damage and will make things worse. Use onion instead. Peel off an onion and rub it on the burned part. You'll feel much better and it will heal soon as well.
