better life with The Diary Game | 19 August 2021, Thursday | A day without Internet

Today is the 19^th of August today, 10^th Muharram in the Islamic calendar. I woke up at 11 30 am today. I know it's late, but these are my last days of vacation, my university will be opening soon, so I thought why not enjoy the rest of the days doing what you like. Well, back to the day, after freshening up and some breakfast. I sat in front of my laptop to complete the Coursera week 3 of CSS. I took so much gap ( well I can not say it was a gap, I was just not motivated to take the class lol ) in week 2 that I got late in submitting the weekly peer graded assignment. For those of you who don't know what peer-graded assignment is, it's basically, when we submit our assignment, you will be asked to mark 3 students in order to get your results, our results are also checked by 3 different students. It's a good way really, we get to see what other student did in their assignment, I personally try to see what other things they applied that makes their assignment more appealing than mine. Anyway, I made up my mind that I will do this week's work in time but my internet connection isn't coming since morning, I was so mad that time, I called the operator, he said that there's been some work going on from the company side.

You guys most probably know what happens when the internet isn't available lol. JazzWorld gives free data every day but the issue is, you have to collect free data daily in order to get more mbs, if you forget to collect the data, you will get only 25 mbs the next day. Since, internet issues are not that much here so I stopped collecting it, but now, I only have 25 mbs for the day. I dont want to spend money for data as I was sure that the internet will come shortly but that never happened lol. So, I spend the whole day waiting for the internet connection to come online 🙃. The other thing is sim connections are also not stable today, I think it's because of majalis so it doesn't matter if I have a data package or not, I will not be able to use it to the fullest.

Its about 5 45 pm, my father is doing fateha. He has a very smooth and calming voice and a beautiful way of reciting the Holy Book. I personally sit down whenever he's doing fateha just to listen to him reciting. I didn't lunch yet because my mother's on fast today. She tried to wake me up but I was so stubborn that I didn't even nod that I'm coming, I feel bad about it now. So, I will eat with my mother after maghrib. I'm writing this diary in real time lol. I just prayed Asr and waiting for Maghrib right now.

It's 9 07 pm, we already ate iftar/lunch or you can also say it a dinner because I don't think I will eat anything now. One thing I want to share, so today, the steemit Pakistan community gave me a surprise. I didn't expect it this much soon since I'm a newbie here. They picked my Wednesday education theme post as the top 3 best picks. I was just finished eating and finally, when my internet connection came, I was just surprised looking at the post by @steemit-pak. I'm also happy over the fact that I set that post to 100% power up.

It's about 10 55 pm, I just completed the week 3 courses work. One thing that helped me, I was just watching the GFX mentor YT video yesterday, where he mentioned the Pomodoro technique for better focus. It worked really well for me. Completed this week's workload in less than 3 hours because of that technique, otherwise, I'll most probably take it to 3 days lol. Hope you guys will get help from it too.

I don't think I will do much now, will probably play some games with friends and then crash to my bed.
