A chorale harmonization of "Merton" from the English Hymnal, with the Hebrew hymn "Ma'oz Tzur" ("Rock of Ages") intermittently appearing in the lower registers in an increasingly ornamented fashion. For SATB choir with flute, oboe, pipe organ, and two violoncelli.
