Assalamu Alikum. Hello again. How are you doing? Hope that everything is running smoothly in your life. I am fine too, Alhamdulillah. Here I am going to share my diary on 19th January 2021. It is Tuesday, my weekly off-day.

I am going to arrange the dairy according to the important events that took place today. Most of the events are placed chronologically.

Fajr prayer:

My holiday started with Fajr prayer. I woke up at 5:30 am. Then I did my ablution and went to the mosque to offer my Fajr prayer. On the way back from the mosque, I made a quick walk via a different road. I took a few pictures at that time.

After returning back home, I recited a few verses from the Holy Quran. Then I drank warm water with honey. I also ate cumin seeds and almonds.

Walking on the treadmill (First round):

I started walking on the treadmill at 7 am. I walked for half an hour. As a habit, I watched a video lecture by Dr Yasir Qadhi. Those who read my previous diaries they may know that currently, I am watching a series lecture named "Understanding the tradition of the signs of the judgement day". Today I watched episode number 4. It was also on the arrival of Dajjal.

Working on the laptop (morning session):

After the walk, I opened the laptop and started browsing the internet. However, I wasn't able to work on the laptop for a long time. Because unlike other mornings, my son woke up just after 7:30 am. I, usually not working on the laptop while he is awoken. So, I had to cut short the work on the laptop.

Talking with my parents:

After my son waking up from sleep, I talked with my parents over Facebook Messenger. My son also talked with his grandparents. In other days, I usually talk in the afternoon. Today I talked in the morning and after Asr prayer as well.

Playing with my kid continued throughout the day, in between other house chores. After feeding my son his breakfast, we went to the front yard. We played for around 15-20 minutes. We found a few workers from the Omatel mobile company working for the cable connection near to our playground. In Oman, most of the cables run under the earth surface.

At the afternoon, I took my son outside for a walk. I took a few images as well.

Ar a barbershop:

At around 11 am, I went to a nearby barbershop to have my haircut. Previously there was a Bangladeshi barber near my house. But he left last year, before this corona pandemic. Today went to a barber who was from Pakistan. He was a nice guy.

Bath, Zuhr prayer and Lunch:

After returning back from the barbershop, I mopped the floors of my house. Then I took my bath. Following the bath, I went to the mosque to pray the Zuhr prayer. After that, we fed our son his lunch and put him in sleep. Then we had our lunch. Today’s menu was rice, pulse and head of fishes (মুড়ি ঘন্ট). It was a delicious dish.

After lunch, I opened the laptop and worked on it for around 1 hour. I browsed different sites. Checked crypto market as well. I was feeling sleepy. So, I shut down my laptop and headed for the bed.

Afternoon nap and Asr prayer:

I took a nap from 2:45 pm to 4:30 pm. I wanted to go to the mosque for Asr prayer but couldn’t wake up, despite setting the alarm. So, after 4:30 pm, I prayed my Asr prayer at home.

Maghrib and Isha prayer, and in between:

Alhamdulillah, after a long time, I was able to pray both Maghrib and Isha prayer at the mosque. In other days, due to clinic duty and busy hour, I can’t go to the only opened-mosque close to my house. Like today I was at home, I got the chance to say my prayer at the mosque. In between the two prayers, I talked with one of my maternal uncles and with my father-in-law. The rest of the time, I spent with my kid.

Dinner:

For dinner, we (me and my son) went to the local fast-food cum coffee shop and bought one food item. We also bought mango juice. Those were our dinner menu today. We love fast food.

Walking on the treadmill (Second round):

After dinner, I walked on the treadmill for another 30 minutes. At the same time, I finished watching the 4th episode of the series lecture (mentioned above) and started watching a documentary on the Al Jazeera English YouTube channel. The topic was really terrifying; The spy on your phone.

Working on the laptop (final session):

After 11:30 pm, I sat on the computer for doing some works. I did browse some sites. As the last work for today, I was writing this diary post.
