A LIQUID THAT DEFIES GRAVITY??!?😮
We're all aware of helium's fascinating properties, which range from floating air balloons to making people speak like chipmunks. The ability to live in two distinct liquid phases is one of its lesser-known properties, which makes it even more intriguing to scientists and explorers like us. That's right!
Helium's viscosity is zero as it is cooled below its boiling point of -452 degrees. As a result, it is able to escape through gaps in the containers' surfaces. When the container is spun, it often stays in the same place, just like water in zero-gravity space. In essence, the interplay between particles is reduced to zero. It never settles down and keeps, according to John Beamish, an experimental physicist at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, even after millions of years.
What is the explanation for this, though?
When ordinary liquids are cooled below their freezing point, the mutual attraction between particles outweighs the heat vibrations, which are greatly reduced. Particles become tightly packed solids as a result. When it comes to helium, though, things are a little different. Its particles are so light that, despite a sufficient decrease in vibrational energy due to cooling, mutual attraction is insufficient to keep them together, resulting in a "super-fluid."
This property is explained in more detail in the video below.

When I was child, I heard from old folk that they thought helium as ghost fire. 😅 😂
