  1. It will reduce the time it takes to process data. This is because if the processing of data has to be done by a company across the world, the speed of that data processing will be low as the latency will be more.

One of the biggest disadvantages of Edge computing will be that you will not be able to determine who or who send updates and new devices that will be added. This is a huge security risk as more of the data is processed is done at the edge level this cause the risk that people will still your identity. The addition of IoT devices might lead to attacks taking advantage of this to attack.


Another disadvantage of Edge computing is that fact there will more incomplete data as in edge computing involves working with the need data and discarding the unwanted data.

Edge computing wi require more storage capacity this is because you wi want to have all the necessary data to be able to work. But they are developing more compact storage devices that will solve this problem in the future as we might get quantum storage devices.
