First, I wanted to thank @moonlight-shadow in tagging me to join this contest and to @steemcommunity for the opportunity to express myself through this activity.

I am going to give you a heads up before reading everything 😂

Aside from being an artist, I am a bit of a geek and a nerd. I have always loved math and science and I love learning new stuff everyday, no matter how random it is. So yeah... This is going to be very educational but could also be personal and self-reflecting.

Here is my explanation as to why my name is @aleph.null

Imagine this: Put yourself being in the center of your thoughts. Then picture the universe in front of you. The people, the world, the stars, the space and the galaxies beyond.

Think about the many possibilities of where you might be if you are not there at the place where you are standing at. If you are a different person, living a different life or instead of being a human, you could have been crawling or running in all fours like an animal. Imagine having the liberty to choose. Where and what will you be? There are many possibilities right? There are INFINITE NUMBER OF POSSIBILITIES.

In the words of Depak Chopra, " You and I are essentially infinite choice-makers. In every moment of our existence, we are in that field of all possibilities where we have access to an infinity of choices."

Mathematically, an example of infinity is counting natural numbers like 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on and so forth to a billionth, trillionth or more. We can go on it forever as it has no limit because there will always be a number greater than any numbers you can think of. But there is also what we called small infinities . If we look at the numbers between 1 and 2. There is 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, or 1.001, 1.002, 1.003------ and it continues on. Fascinating isn't it?

There are basically different types of infinities but Aleph Null or Aleph Zero is the first smallest infinity. "Aleph" is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and "Aleph Null" is the first transfinite cardinal number. It encompass all finite, natural numbers. It is the set of all the numbers you can think and not think of. We call that, ALEPH NULL.

"Aleph Null" is a mathematical term but speaking metaphorically, in the sense of life, we can say that having to choose from a certain set of choices could be endless. Having to choose who you want to be requires sifting your thoughts through every ounce of idea in your mind. It so complex right? but on the other side, I could say that we have the freedom in driving our lives towards the destination of our choice. We could travel to many places as we like. Be someone different many times.

These infinite choices are PRIVELAGES.
These infinite choices are OPPORTUNITIES.
These infinite choices are GRACES.

We could mold ourselves to be someone we want. And that is what we should be thankful of.

As much as this should speak a lot about me, but ALEPH NULL embodies all of us. It is dedicated to all of us. Because each of us has our little infinities as well. For me, being "Aleph Null" reminds me that I could always be someone better than I currently am. There may be bigger infinities out there, but this small infinity of mine, gives me so much room to grow, so much dreams to aspire and so much enthusiasm of what life might give to me.

But you know what? There is one infinity that is common to all of us. And that is HOPE.

If I were given a chance to change my name, I wouldn't. We all have stories behind each of our names and that's what makes it exciting because we could know what type of person everyone are based on what we identify ourselves as. In this case, this is me.

This is my identity

And that my friends, is the story behind my name! I used this ever since my teenage or highschool years. I grew attached this notion of infinity and life. Still, it helped me whenever I feel down about something. I always remind myself to stand up because there is always more to life than what is.

I am inviting my @vrein, @meivys and @ikur14

Thank you and Godbless!
