While going to the seaside for some sunset photoshoot in most of the cases I do use wide angle lens (so called landscape lens) , which provides very wide view and bringing all together sea and skies and beach.
But time to time it really comes a wish to try something different.

Living in a port city we always have some vessels moored outerroads or proceeding to and from the port gates. At this point there is a possibility to make some shots with a long tele-photo lens compressing the perspective a lot. To get some interesting shot, however, it is necessary to have some more or less clear sunset and the sun circle to be visible, but not too much bright. And if it comes to the point when touching the horizon it appears you have some vessel at same position, you can call yourself lucky enough to get this shot expected

It happens really very rare, but happens. And here is such a story of dawning sun at a very calm summer evening with just stunning colors and quite a lot of vessel on the horizon.
And the last shot will be sun just loaded into the cargo hold of one of the vessels out there :)
