Of the many character I am much proud of that would be Perseverance. I wasn't born from a rich family and so as my husband. But we try our very best to achieve what we hope for because of one main reason.

We got married young, jobless and naive. But being young parents taught us to persevere. We have been through tough situations were people have shut their doors upon us. Mocked by some because of our inability. This made us work harder and dreamed higher.

Becoming a public school teacher was one thing I dreamt of. Tried my very best to get in and with perseverance, patience and prayer I was able to achieve my dreams. Hitting that goal made us open another opportunity. That is being able to back up my husband in achieving his dreams too.

He had always hoped to become a seafarer. His family couldn't support him in achieving his dreams so I was there all through out his journey. I supported him in all of his needs. When you wished for something and do your best, you will surely achieve that dream.

Having our own family is the reason for us to persevere. I think all parents would agree. Now in this really difficult time, family is the only thing you can keep. Money won't save you get well, but with the right people who helps you in your daily struggle no disease will let you down.

Perseverance is the persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. So don't hurry things, it may not be given to you now or tomorrow but with perseverance you can move forward, specially at this time of difficulty were a lot of us are affected by the pandemic a lot of us are becoming hopeless. Persevere and have faith that everything will be better soon at the right time.

Like my mom would always say, discouragement and giving up will not bring you to success. Just persevere and be patient and put a lot of hard work nothing is impossible.

I invite @traderpaw @steemitcebu @gilbertthegreat to share their entry too.
