The diary game || 24-06-2024 || A hungry day at my working place

Hello Steemians,

How are you guys doing today? I hope you guys are all doing well? If so, then we return all the glory to God almighty for all he has been doing for us all this while.

I woke up very early in the morning today at exactly 4: 30am, then I started my morning devosion till 5 :00am

Immediately after my Devosions of 30 minutes, I went to the bathroom and brush up my teeth and also took my bath immediately in order for me to meet up with time for work because today is my resumption day after spending my 3 days at home for my off days.

So immediately after my bath, I dressed up immediately and left my house , so when I arrived the road, I took a vehicle and it brought me directly to my working place at exactly 5:55am.

So immediately I stepped into the office, I began to hear the signs of breeze and heavy shaking of the trees in the premises, I was so surprised because I didn't notice any sign of rain when I was outside just few minutes ago, and this was because when I was on my way to the working place , it was still dark that was why I couldn't notice any sign of rain.

So after some minutes of the breeze, the rain started heavily and very strong with too much breeze while it started falling.

So, the rain persisted till 11:30am and it was still very heavy, and as at that time I became so hungry already because I didn't take any break fast from home before I left my house for work early in the morning today.

The worst thing that happened was the absence of the food sellers because of the rain, I was so angry and not happy at all, though I can't really blem the food sellers for not coming around to sell because the rain started very early in the morning and didn't stopped even up till that moment.

The rain still continued till 2pm , I was very angry the more because I was expecting it to stop around that 11am but it continued till 2pm before it finally stopped, as at that time non of the food sellers was able to come around again.

So, I put a call to One of the food sellers, and she said she and her fellow sellers could not meet up today because of the rain, and she said we should try and arrange our own food since we use to cook at times.

So I told my colleque that we have no option than to cook since it was 4pm already, so, I went and checked the gas cylinder I discovered that the gas has finished, so I decided to go far with my own leg despite the hunger at that moment and filled the cylinder with the gas.

Immediately I arrived My working place after trekking from the fillling station, I became totally weak, so my colleque said I should go and rest let him Cook the food quickly, so he started cooking the rice.

So when he parboiled the rice and put it back on fire, just after 5 minutes, I went and checked the rice wether it was done already, this made my friend busted into laughter, but I didn't care because I was concentrating on the hunger that was worrying me.

So, after some time again I went and checked it and I told my college to bring the food down so that we could eat it like that because I don't care if it was totally done or not.
