SEC14 WK:#3:🤷My Perception About House Chores

Greetings to the members of steem kids and parents ,it is my delight to post in this community for the first time and to join the contest my perception about house chores.

I am going to follow the contest guidelines as I explore the topic . I hope you enjoy reading.

WHAT DOES HOUSE CHORES MEAN AND WHAT IS YOUR PERCEPTION ABOUT IT?
House chores are domestic activities that we carry out in our homes. These are tasks we carry out regularly such as cleaning, washing, cooking etc .
We basically need to do house chores so as to live a healthy life. Imagine not doing the laundry,the dishes sweeping, dusting, cooking, putting things in their proper places and in the proper order .it wouldn't be good right? That's what I'm talking about. Taking care of household chores is a necessity.
Although some people find it challenging to do so because they may not enjoy doing the chores. Others love it, some do it as a duty . But we will not deny the fact that doing household chores daily/regularly promote healthy living . So in my own opinion doing household chores is necessary wether one likes it not. Personally I love doing household chores. I feel a sense of fulfillment when I'm done with chores and I enjoy doing some of them.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE HOUSE CHORES THAT IS DONE IN YOUR HOUSE.
The house chores done in my house include:

•laundry (washing of clothes)

•washing the dishes

•cooking

•sweeping

•mopping

•Arranging/putting things in place

•making the bed

• Trimming the flowers etc

WHICH OF THEM DO YOU ENJOY DOING AND HOW DO YOU DO THEM?

I enjoy doing some household chores like I said and the ones I enjoy doing are as follows:
√ cooking: I enjoy making delicious meals in fact cooking is the chore I enjoy most, it is more than a chore it makes me happy and most fulfilling part is when I get positive reviews from people who eat my meals. It gives me joy to know that I can actually make meals that people enjoy and I love the fact that I'm able to serve my family in that capacity. I also enjoy eating good home made food.

√ the second house hold chore I enjoy doing is laundry. I do my laundry any day I'm free. I do mostly hand washing . There's this clean and fresh aura that comes with doing the laundry it's leaves the house smelling clean and fresh and all and that gives me a sense of satisfaction .

√ the third house hold chore I enjoy doing is the dishes. When I was younger I and my little brother use to take turns to do the dishes and we started doing the dishes as soon as we could do it. Doing the dishes makes the kitchen look clean and neat. Dirty disher invite house flies, fruit flies , cockroaches and other household pests which are harmful to the health.

WHY IS HOUSE CHORES IMPORTANT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
Doing household chores regularly and as necessary helps to keep the house in a hygienic and pristine condition . The family is healthy when their environment/ surrounding is clean and fresh. House chores is important because it promotes good and healthy living. Health is wealth as the saying goes. My family and I are happy and healthy because we take
doing house chores seriously.

YOUR ADVICE TO KIDS ABOUT HOUSE CHORES

They should not see house chores as burdensome, rather they should learn to love doing chores that way they'll enjoy doing it and also they should look as them as basic life skills they must acquire. Imagine a child male or female that refuses to learn how to cook, wash, sweep etc , that child would not be appealing to others and the society would poke at such a child. Learning how to do house chores can boost a child's self confidence promotes general well being. So children should be taught to do chores at a young age.
