WHAT DOES KINDNESS MEAN TO YOU? by @cachetes-27

Hello Friends!!!

I find these topics amazing to raise awareness, beyond sensitizing hearts. For no one is a secret the difficult situation that our planet is going through, and even human beings I have not finished understanding that we lack that touch of empathy and humanity.

.

What do you understand by kindness?

The word kindness, is known as a virtue that normally characterizes human beings who at some point in time feel compassion or empathy with their peers or animals , in other words is the satisfaction and happiness after performing a good deed.

In turn, this is accompanied by a series of actions and deeds, it is not only about pretending to do something, it is about thinking about it and executing it. Solidarity plays a very important role in this definition.

Who can show kindness and why?

Anyone who is born and willing can be able to be kind. Sometimes we think that because we don't have "too much ", we can't help our neighbor. The truth is, it is about sharing the little we have with people who really need it, life takes many turns and we do not know when it will be our turn to be down.

From my point of view, no one is obliged to be kind, even so, there is nothing greater, more beautiful and satisfying than being a person of good deeds, this does not make us neither more nor less than others, it makes us empathetic and charismatic beings.

Have you shown kindness to someone, how did you do it and how did the recipient feel?

Growing up I always liked to help my classmates with their homework or some things they didn't understand. And that was something that over time I kept and even reinforced.

Being kind is a gesture that allows us to form ourselves and grow emotionally. Currently I am at the disposal of any volunteer activity or social action is a function of others.

In one of the visits with Team Mango Bolivar, I made a friend. A grandfather with a lot to give, who unfortunately is visually impaired, yet this does not disable him from his natural functions, moreover, he strives every day to be better. Sincerely, he is a word of encouragement and hope for life.

Whenever we visit him I try to bring him something, he loves arepas and much more food, and definitely his smile is what is most comforting and motivates him to continue every day with the work despite the difficulties that may arise along the way.

Has anyone shown you kindness before and how did you feel when they showed you kindness?

I have always appreciated the smallest gesture from the people around me towards me, so the simple fact of every detail is something that feels indescribable. It is enough for me that they are attentive to me and care if I have eaten or not. That they are attentive to the little things that sometimes overwhelm me but are able to change that reality. If that's not an act of kindness, then I wouldn't know how to answer this question.

Do you think kindness is a virtue that everyone should cultivate and demonstrate in a practical way?

I sometimes feel that schools should teach these kinds of values, as well as mental health care. Children are a sponge when they are young, we should teach them that helping other people is okay, and that no one is more than another person.

More than being kind we should be humble and emotional, if the world would think this way, there would not be so much hunger, misfortunes and all kinds of situations that threaten low-income countries.

There is no one more responsible for what happens in society than ourselves, we can not expect others to change to contribute, we must contribute to be the change that society needs.

How did you learn to be kind and where?

One of the things I am most grateful for is to have been part of the Scouts of Venezuela Association. Even though I am not currently active, the teachings and lessons learned are something that I carry with me throughout my life. Definitely the motto of Siempre Listos Para Servir, is something that marked me a lot and taught me to share and motivate others to think this way.

Being a leader and having the ability to convince is something that is often on my side, as long as it is about changing someone's world I will be there.

##:What would the world be like if everybody cultivated this quality?

There wouldn't be so many problems because we would have the ability to connect and put aside greed, power, pride and all this, and we would put ourselves in other people's shoes, we would be understanding and this would allow us to reach agreements that benefit everyone involved unanimously.
