Step 1
I began my craft construction by measuring the size of the background frame on a carton. The frame measured 9 inches by 13 inches. After the measurement, I cut it out using a paper cutter.
Step 2
I drew the head of the African woman and her neck. I also drew a jar on her head and her two hands holding the jar.
Step 3
I drew part of her body from her armpit down to her breasts and west.
Step 4
I completed the drawing of the African woman at this stage. I drew her buttocks and the skirt she puts on. Finally, I drew her two legs one resting on the other.
Step 5
Here, I used my paper cutter to cut the African woman I had drawn
Step 6
I used Evostik gum to glue the African woman on the background cut in Step 1 above.
Step 7
I coloured the background of the craft using a white poster colour
Step 8
I coloured the entire body of the African woman using black acrylic colour. This has to do with her legs, her hands, her stomach, her neck and her face. I also designed part of the jar on her head with the black acrylic colour.
Step 9
I coloured the jar on the woman's head with blue colour.
Step 10
I coloured the skirt worn by the woman. The upper part of the skirt is coloured red and the lower part is coloured yellow. I also designed the red part of the skirt with a White colour (correction pen) to make it look attractive.
Step 11
Here is coloured the shirt of the woman with a viridian colour. I coloured the edge of her shirt and the sleeve with white stripes. I also put white strive on her wrist, ankle and neck to serve as bid. Finally, I added white dots to the black colour design on the water jar.
