My childhood favourite story - The bundle of broom sticks
Hello fellow steemians, Hope we are all doing great today. It will be quite interesting to go through your individuals experiences as I will be writing on one of my own childhood story as well.
Perhaps, these stories were usually shared by my Mother, especially the ones that comes with practical lessons at the end. But as a child i used to enjoyed these stories and it also stay in my memory, they were significant stories. Here is one of the story.
The bundle of broom sticks and the broom stick
There was an old man who leave, he had three male children, and these three sons were so industrious, but the problem was they like quarrelling with each other every time. But the father has tried all his effort to unite them and to stop them from quarrelling, and also tried all the necessary actions to make them see things in his own way, but he could not.
After some times, as the father was getting older, he become sick. He encourage his sons to remain united, but they refused to listen to him. So the father decided to teach them some practical lesson - so that they can forgive and forget their differences and remain in unity.
This time, he asked them to bring a broom stick and a bundle of broom stick they all came with it and he asked one of his sons to pick the broom stick and break it, one of them picked the broom stick and he easily break it. then he now asked him again to pick the bundle of the broom sticks and break it again and the son did as he said, but he could not be able to break it.
The father now smiled and told them; sons just like these broom sticks, if you stay united no one will be able to separate you or cause any harm to you,
but if you stay divided, you will be easily harmed or defeated by your enemy.
The three sons now sat down and understood the wisdom of their father's illustration and they all come together and promised to stay united as a family.

When people unites together they also enjoy peace and love.
When someone isolate himself, he can easily be harmed.
When we use simple and practical illustration or example when teaching, we can easily reach people's heart.

Hello @fonnydanny, thank you for creating captivating story like this with great resemblance on human unity. The broom logic can however express warmness and sufficient Felicity if interlinked with human distinctions, most especially when it is determined to be the life-changer. Your Father was right, Unity disseminate violental traits, but Love brings one together....
