The Diary Game 11/24: Eva's cough does not put us to sleep at night

Cold season starts to kicked in and getting colds seems like everywhere. This has been my family’s struggle since we came here. My Eva gets cough and colds but this time her cough is like more of an asthma. I wouldn't wonder if she is asthmatic since my dad had it from birth til he died, while my mom had it in her elderly stage.

Her cough does not put us to sleep at night. I feel pity on her especially when she says she's tired. She mostly want me by her side and just cuddle her but sometimes it's hard coz i have to take care of the other baby and do most household chores. It's not easy to be away from family during this times that my husband and I needs other hands to help.

We took her to the clinic last week but her pediatrician wasn’t there that time. She was checked by a nurse practitioner and was prescribed with nebulizer and medicine on it but seems like not working on her cough.

I am kinda careful in trusting my kids health to other health practitioner because of some experiences that we had encountered from the past. And most of them that we had tried were not really that therapeutic and not giving health teachings. Both my kids have the same pediatrician, our trusted health provider and we are hoping tomorrow he will be in the clinic.

Being a mom, its like i have no right to get sick. I have to stand even though I am tired and not feeling better. It hurts me so much watching her cough day and night. Someone had asked me if I also get sick, well, for sure I do with all the stress, work, and not getting a good amount of sleep at night. But I am a mother, I have to get up for my babies.
