Define altcoins
Altcoins refer to the various digital or virtual currencies that are not Bitcoin. These can include alternative cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Litecoin and NEO, as well as tokens such as EOS and TRON. Altcoins are often less centralized and have faster transaction times than Bitcoin. They can also be more volatile, meaning they may price differently at different times. Some people use the term altcoins to refer to any digital currency that isn’t Bitcoin. Others use the term to refer specifically to alternative cryptocurrencies. Still others use the term to refer to tokens that aren’t registered on any major exchanges.
What is your favorite altcoin?
My favorite Altcoin is STEEM . Steemit is a blockchain-based social media platform that rewards users for posting and voting on content. Users can also earn STEEM by running applications on the Steem platform. This allows content creators to get paid for their work without having to rely on advertising revenue. Steem is also relatively stable, meaning it doesn’t experience as much volatility as some other altcoins.
What year was it created?
Steem was created on 4th July 2016. It gained popularity with is release when people started earning using the PoB concept . PoB stands for Proof of Brain which rewards users for creating original content that is rewarded and appreciated. Steemit is a good example of how altcoins can be used to create new ways for people to earn money. And bring in financial stability.

Hello, dear @ibtisamwaqas. You have written well about Altcoin and Steem as your favorite Altcoin. That being said, you have misconstrued Steemit for Steem. Steemit is a dApp where you can blog to earn STEEM, as such you should have written about Steem alone and drawn its logo.
You have drawn the logo of Steemit in your entry, it should have been the token, STEEM instead. If you can replace your writing and logo with STEEM's, I will rate your entry.
