Population can be characterized as the cumulative number of people living in any given geographical territory, e.g., towns, states, countries or continents. As a result of this rapid expansion, natural resources can not satisfy the needs of the people.

Overpopulation is a sate where the number of the people or living creatures population surpasses the original capacity power of the specific geographical region. Overpopulation is inflicted by various factors.

  1. Degradation of the environment

The multiple use of coal, oil, and natural gas, has begun generating some serious effects on our atmosphere. with the rapid increase of vehicles and industries has badly polluted the air.

  1. Conflicts and wars
Overpopulation in developing countries puts a crucial distress on the resources. Conflicts because water is becoming an origin of anxiety between countries, which could emerge as wars. It causes diseases to spread and makes them difficult to control the spread of diseases or virus a crucial example would be the COVID 19 pandemic which was very difficult to contain and control it's spread.

As the variation between demand and supply proceeds to improve due to overpopulation, it boosts the prices of numerous important products, including food, shelter, and healthcare. This implies that people have to pay extra to or so extra jobs to survive and feed their homes.

Between overpopulated and underpopulated I would prefer an underpopulated region or nation because when the area is overpopulated the would be scarcity of Basic amenities, while if the area is underpopulated there will be enough food and basic amenities for everyone.

Conclusion.
Immigrants leaving the country or region to move to another country can cause overpopulation and cause the country or residents of that particular country to suffer the consequences of overpopulation such as poverty, unemployment, crime rate increasing etc. I invite @yakspeace, @edidiongeffiong and @Sahmie.

Underpopulation will lead the country into more and more developments and progress. We should also have only one or two kids.
