The announcement was made via this update by the @steemitblog. We at steem kids and parents community were so thrilled to read it. We say thank you to the steemit team for their unwaivering supports.

In this post, I am going to give some tips that can guide everyone who desires to take part in this engagement challenge for this season. We all want to succeed and we all want to feel the vibes and enjoy the interaction and as well receive the support and attention that we all deserve. Please follow through with the tips

Remember that this is an engagement challenge

As the name implies, we need to seriously engage and be fully involved in this challenge. We may not have been engaging but take it as a challenge. Try to engage with others. It means that you will need to beef up your engagement level. This starts with making an entry.

• Your quality entry is the first step. This is because without making an entry, that is, making a post according to the topic and following the rules, you have not started.

So, in line with the rules, really make a quality entry to the engagement topic according to the Community.

Your entry has to be a quality one that brings out the points of the contest topic. And be detailed. Make sure to write on all the contest tips and exhaust all there is to that topic. Do not leave any stone unturned as far as the topic and the subtopics are concerned. Have a target to stand out from the crowd because many will be making their entries. So write so as to win.

✅Images must be your own or from a free sourced site. Do not use images that are not yours without properly adding the sources, thus giving credit to the owner.Even if the image is yours, let us know that they are your own.

✅It is advised that you write in your own words. As much as possible, try to use your own words in your writing but even if you happen to source information anywhere, it must not be plagiarized and please let us know where your information originates. Add the source of your information.

✅ Paragraph your writings. Do not cluster your words. Give spaced in-between words and create paragraphs. To create a paragraph, hit your enter key severally. Remember that each paragraph must have at least one point.

✅Do not write less than 300 words. This 300 words is excluding your greetings, introduction and conclusions. If you bear this in mind, then you will be more detailed in your explanation of the points of the contest topic.

✅ Proofread your entry to avoid wrong grammar, wrong spelling or punctuations that are either not properly placed or not punctuating at all. Very important.

✅Use of markdown styles, creating subheadings and making them to stand out is very important too.

• Make meaningful comments. Yea, as an aspect of the engagement challenge is our comments. Our meaningful comments of not less than 50 words counts. Remember, don't just make a comment. Make meaningful comments that relates to the points written by the user you are engaging with. Your comments can either be a complement to what is written, a suggestion, a commendation, an addition or a correction. These are wonderful elements to a quality comment. Remember that you should always make the writer feel encouraged and not downhearted unless the writer doesn't deserve them. Remember too that we are friends and not enemies, and even if you are enemies, there is no need to be sentimental, just do the right thing and move on. I trust that we will do our best in this regard.

An entry is expected to have 5 meaningful comments on it and you will not be the reason why that user will not have his or her complete comment right? Lols! And while you are expecting a common your publications, go for your own comment on other people's publications, the to let them know that you have made your own entry and invite them to comment on yours. It's not wrong to do that.

• Upvote!, upvote!! and upvote!!!. As an aspect of engagement, upvote is what shows that you support that wonderful entry that you just read. It is in fact an integra part of this engagement challenge. And of course, everyone wants to receive upvotes and so it starts with you tapping that upvote button in support of that publication. Yes, that one. We can do it. Whether we have. We have to and we must, haha! Yea. Apart from upvoting the post of the once you have made comment on their publications, you also will need to upvote the community contest post for that engagement. Sometimes it is part of the rules. So don't forget to do so.

• Reply to a comment that has been dropped on your post is also important and that is also an aspect of engagement. Great friendships are formed from this. If your publication has meaningful interactions, then it is a plus to you. So, really try to appreciate the one that has taken out his or her time to comment on your entry.

• Invite your friends to take part. Yea, this is also part of engagement. Especially if that your friend or acquaintance has not already taken part in that challenge. If possible, invite as many as you can though the rule might just be to invite at least 3, you may not need to limit yourself to just the 3. Do you know that these ones you have invited might be the ones that can give you meaningful comments and upvotes on your entry? Yea, it is beneficial to invite friends.

And when you are invited, please endeavor to respond via a comment on that entry. Don't just ignore. It pays to respond to an invite. I have had countless benefits via this. So, try it out. It could be that you had already taken part before the invite comes. By responding, it is possible that that user will add more meaningful comment to your own entry.

• The bottom line - take part in the engagement challenge across the 7 communities. There are 7 communities and 7 contest topics each week. You are to make entry in them once in a day. So, brace up for activities! Feel the fun! You can do it.
