I have never been busier: welcoming Steemians to my city for meetup

Starting from when I opened my eyes for the day yesterday being Friday, 29th November till when I closed it late at night, I never the opportunity to rest. It was really a busy day.

First, I went for workout, then I distributed Nigerian steemians meetup t-shirts to the steemians, to shopping for the remaining items on the list for the meetup, to welcoming @sahmie @xkool24 @ruthjoe and @ninapenda who came from their various locations for the purpose of the meetup, then preparing food for the visitors, and getting the children ready for the day. It was not easy but I am happy that I did all that for the sake of the meetup.

It was as if my sleep was cut short in anticipation for Friday. I had to arrange t-shirts that I will distribute to the owners by 4 am. Then I took my shower because the previous day was also hectic due to shopping and t-shirt arrangement.

I left house by 6.24 am for my workout location to train my clients. The programs for the day focused on strength. We lifted heavy tier to and from a distance for 5 Repetitions, then we used dumbbells to do overhead lifts, we did 3 other programs before I started distributing the Steemit meetup t-shirts. The steemians that came around to pick theirs included @goodybest, @alli001 @kidi40 @whisbro4eva @mbetobngluke @jewel005 @bossj23 @jozzie90 @chichigirl @kemsyluv and others. These ones also collected for their friends and acquaintances. Though I still have some that I am yet to distribute but that will be before the meetup.

Next, goodybest and I went to the market to complete the shopping for the meetup. From around 11 am till past 2pm. We shopped for chicken which is very costly and we had to move round the market to get a better deal, we bought salad vegetables, soup items as well as drinks and wines, including water.

On our way back, @sahmie called me that he had gotten to the junction I directed him to stop. He waited for us until we got to meet him. He joined us to my here we offloaded the whole stuffs with his help and that if @alli001.

I then went out with all001 to the lodging hotel where they will all lodge. After showing him his room. We left. On our way back, xkool, ninapenda and ruthjoe called that they had gotten to the junction I asked them to stop. We went out to meet them.

We went back to the hotel and showed them their rooms that I already booked in advance for them all. Then we went in search for food, we couldn't find. They decided that we get to my house since I needed to prepare soup.

At home, I had to rally round to search for firewoods that we will cook with, then bought gas as our gas finished, then went back to prepare the soup while all001 was busy taking care of the chicken because I was going to start the preparation that evening.

Before long, I finished the soup and served them all. My daughter, @fortwis09 was of great assistance to me. As soon as they were done, we chatted for a while before going to drop them off at their lodging hotel.

Upon getting home, I started preparing the chicken which had been neatly cut and washed by all001. He was very helpful to me along with kidi40. It was a quick one as I had so many hands that assisted.

It soon was ready and everything was washed and cleaned before we retired for the day. @bonaventure24 was still being guided to get to us. He later arrived while I was asleep though I had given him directions on how to get to the hotel. When he called by midnight, my husband received the call because I was fast asleep, tired from the busy day.

It is the meet up day today already.i will continue with my busy schedule until it is over. Let's see how everything will go!
