We went to visit the Dehiwala Zoo yesterday at the request of my sister. She is still a little girl of school age and she had been wanting to visit the Dehiwala zoo for a few days now. Since yesterday was a Poya day, we decided to go to visit the zoo yesterday. We left home at 7.30 am and it was past 10 am when we reached the zoo. We had breakfast at a shop there. It cost us 1300 Sri Lankan rupees. After eating, we went to the ticket counter to get tickets to visit the zoo. The cost to visit the Dehiwala Zoo was 295 Sri Lankan rupees for a local adult and 118 Sri Lankan rupees for children under 10 years of age.

As there were three adults and two school-age children, the total cost for our tickets was 1121 Sri Lankan rupees. After purchasing the tickets, we went inside to visit the zoo. We first went to see the fish in the aquarium. There were several types of fish there, from small fish to large fish.

After seeing the fishes, we went to see the other animals. Dehiwala Zoo is one of the zoos in Sri Lanka. There are many different animals here, from fish to other animals. There are many different animals here, such as birds, reptiles, snakes, and mammals. Since a large number of people had come to visit the zoo that day, the zoo itself was full of people.So we started our journey to see the animals at around 11 am and continued till around 2.30 pm.

We visited the animals while taking pictures and eating ice cream and snacks. We had lunch after visiting the zoo.

It was past 3 pm when we had lunch. We had lunch at a shop in the zoo itself. It cost us about 3000 Sri Lankan rupees. So, after seeing all the animals, we left to reach home before nightfall.

It was after a few years that I went to the Dehiwala Zoo yesterday. So, couldn't see many of the animals that were there before. Some of the enclosures were empty. I hope to visit the zoo again.

So we left the zoo at around 4 pm. It was around 7:30 pm when we got home. So this is how I spent my day yesterday.
