Betterlife || The Diary Game - 01/05/2024 - May Day In Words And Pictures || Sharing Messages Of Hope

Greetings to you all dear steemians in this great community. It's been a great midweek with much healthy activities.

As usual my midweek fitness walk is always accompany with sharing the goodnews of a better world in the nearest future. By coincidence it is the May Day 2024. A day where all workers are celebrated. But will I see myself as a worker or self employed worker? If so who will celebrate me?

Well I choose another work whereby workers are not celebrated by humans but by the owner of the work. As such to accomplish this work today, I first attend to some of my house chores and took my bath, get dress and ready to move. I walk through Ikot Ekwere Itam from home to access the Calaba Itu High way.

Then I proceed to Itu road and walk down to link Church road that takes me a few meters to get to Eddie's place where I stop over a bit.

Looking at my wrist watch I discovered that I was a 12 minute behind the time, so I left Eddie's place and head on to Urua Ekpa road to meet with other friends and goodnews bearers.

I walked faster and was able to catch up with them at Udousanga Street where they had already commence the work.

It is always a thing of joy to find others leavings their businesses and personal challenges to share this message with others out of love of neighborhood.

After spending much time till late noon, it was time to stop and close for the day. Then I returned to church road and spend close to an hour before walking back home.

As I was on my way back home, the weather began to change and the wind began throwing things here and there in preparation to bring down the rain.

At this point I began to increase my steps faster than before to avoid getting got up by the rain.

Infact the cloud became dark and people started running to get off the impending down pour. And I said to myself, 'I most gets home before this rain pour', so my steps became more and more faster. And finally I got home.

Soon as I open the door and step inside, the rain began to pour, and all I could say was 'God thank you'. It continues to pour heavily.

Inside, I engage in other activities of preparing something to eat and get some rest before embarking on curating some post. Meanwhile I have recorded over 21,100 steps to keep fit and healthy on in my fitness app.
