EDUCATION, WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO A CHILD? WHAT STEPS ARE TAKEN IN YOUR LOCALITY TO EMBRACE MODERN EDUCATION INCLUDING CRYPTO EDUCATION? || By @Oasiskp || 10% To Steemkidss

Hello wonderful kids and kid lovers in steemkids community and other communities. It is my delight to share in this contest that will be so revealing. Stay tune in this frequency as I share my version of the contest with you.

What is Education?
There is no straight and universally acceptable definition of education because it means different things to different people in different fields, culture, background, country as well as belief. Borrowing from different angles of school of thought gives us an ample understanding of the concept of education.

I define education as the art of or process of imparting/giving and or receiving systematic instruction, knowledge, skill especially in a formal setting usually school. Education starts right from the worm to infancy and up to when the individual is no more on the surface of the earth.

Education is divided into two major category namely; formal and informal education.

• Formal education:- This type of education takes place in a well organised, structured and approved setting usually a school in the four-walls of the classroom. The government, parents, teachers and the pupils are all involved in the curriculum contents development based on the levels, of which differ from country to country.
• Informal education:- As the name implies, it is the type of education that does not follow well organise contents. It usually takes place at home where both parents, siblings, relatives, and neighbours took part in educating the child in core values of the family, community and by extension the larger society such as; home etiquette, farm and trade techniques as well as community relations.

Why is it Important to a Child?
Education is so important to a child because it is a right, and as such every child have the right to basic education. The following are the importance of education to the child:

• it helps in the child formative years, that is the motor as well as cognitive cycle of the child;
• education helps children learn how to engage themselves in critically thinking and proffer solutions to given situations;
• education exposes the child to new ideas and techniques;
• the creativity and imaginations of a child is enhances through education;
• education instill in the child the spirit of working together with others
• education helps the child to discovere him/her self as well have a broader understanding of the world around him such as the culture and tradition that foster unity among the people;
• education is also important to a child because it helps to form the bedrock that the child uses to find the path to a career that he/she wish to pursue as adult set in;
• the importance of education to the child cannot be underestimated because education teaches the child how to learn by examples the good qualities and habit of their educators and parents;
• above all, education enhances the intellectual capacity and the defense mechanism of the child in terms of accepting new and foreign ideas or concept.

At What Age Should A Child Start Learning?
I believe there is no specific age for the child to start learning. In fact learning start from the mother's worm up to when the child is born and subsequently as soon as the child start to grow and cognitive abilities develop. The learning may not be formal but informal, coming from the parents and others in the child's immediate environment. The child learns simply things like smiling, touching, sound, facial expression and even taste. Besides, because of the jet age we are couple with the social class and financial status of the parents, most child are sent to kindergarten as soon as they start to crawling. In general, the child should not be force to learn at a time the child is not ready so that the child don't become overwhelmed and lost interest in learning altogether.

What is Done in Your Locality to Embrace Modern Education including Crypto Education?
Even though the child have the right to basic education, it is the sole responsibility of the parents to determine the type and quality of education the child gets. In my locality much is being done by the government to sensitize parents to see the need for the child to embrace modern education. This is done by:

• caring out advocacy through educative radio programs that portray the future of a child who is educated today;
• provisions of modern educational equipment to basic schools;
• equipping the schools with certain modern recreational facilities like computerize games;
• provision of one square meal daily to assist parents as well as stimulate the child interest in going to school;
• giving in-service training to the teachers on modern teaching techniques;
• though crypto education have not been formalize, most schools in consonant with the parents are working out modalities to train their child in crypto basic education;
• some parents arranged for external classes in centres were crypto education is taught so that their child go after normal school hours;
• sending the child to computer learning centers to acquire computer skills that will help them in future crypto education;
• of course parents who are on steemit platform knows the importance of crypto education, hence they encourage their child/children to sign up and follow these courses.
