Weekly Contest 22 || The Diary Game || Attending The National Nigerian Steemit Meetup - 30/11/2024

Hip, hip, hip, Hurray!! The pleasure is always mine each time I have the opportunity to join and contribute my day's dairy to the Weekly Contest organize by @m-fdo in the Steem Kids & Parents Community and by extension, the Steemit blockchain at large. This time around, it is the round 22 weekly dairy contest.

Permit me to take you through my dairy for the day as it unfold on 30th November 2024. As often said, Sufficient for each day have it's own goodness, happiness and badness, and of course there is little you can achieve for the day.
Once more, greetings to you all, happy to know you are here!

Morning

The day happens to be a Saturday, the very last day of the 11th month of the year 2024. What of course will you expect from someone who is opportune to witness the day's from the very first day of the year up till now. Without mixing words, I and the rest members of the family woke up with praises to the most high God, who made it possible to see this day.

Then follows the usual morning house chores, but this time, with a different approach because the last Saturday of every month is usually a nationwide environmental sanitation which is observed from the early hours of the day till 10am before normal movement is allowed.

Part of my cleaning for the day extend to the cleaning of the newly acquired site at Urua Ekpa road for the construction of a kingdom hall. The site need to be cleared and the hall need to be washed, hence after finishing the cleaning at home, I moved down to the site and joined forces with other brethrens to get the place clean.

Even the children were not left out in this noble course as they lend their little hands in the cleaning.

The hall was washed, chairs dusted, as well as other items properly cleaned.

Thereafter there was a light entertainment which helps to reinvigorates the brethrens physically.

Afternoon

After the work was completed, I left to get myself prepare to attend the long awaited National Nigerian Steemit Meetup which was billed to take place live in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. As you know, there were lots of anticipation on what to see happen, so I have to leave on time to be at the venue before the meeting commence. On my way going, at the plaza, I met my fellow steemians who were equally going to the venue and it wasn't difficult for me to identify them due to the blue t-shirt that spot them out from the crowd, the likes of @nsijoro, @basil20 and co., there and then we make the journey together.

Evening

The time finally came to commence the Meetup, in fact, it happens to be one of a kind that I have attended before now, I happen to meet one on one with great steemians. There were a lot of talks by the leaders such as @ngoenyi, @benton3, @goodybest and @xkool24.

It was really a gathering of great minds and writers. Words will not express it all because alongside there were gift and lots to eat and drink.
