The Diary Game: My first official Interview Since after my service year | 03/07/2024

Today is indeed a wonderful day for me as I mark a remarkable moment in my life journey. I graduated from the University where I studied for my first degree in the year 2021 and since after then I have been working as a lecturer in the school where I served.

I haven't gone out for any official interview before because I don't see the need to do so since it is always difficult for one to see an advert of any job in the place where I'm staying. Also even when you see an advert, the payment will discourage you because of the transport and other expenses you will incur while working.

So a lot of factors couldn't allow me to always go out to search for any work at all but that doesn't mean that I stopped submitting my CV to any advertisement that comes my way. Since the lecturing work I'm currently doing is a part time work, I needed to have a more stable job and that is the reason why I always try to apply.

After many applications in the past few months or years, I was recently got an invitation to come for an interview in Abuja. I received the mail yesterday from the organisation requesting me to come to the interview centre today at exactly 9:00 a.m.

Seeing the invitation, I quickly chatted the person who sent me the link of the job to know what is required of me. So the person said I should just prepare myself based on common interview questions and also I should study and be familiar with my field of studies as the questions will always come from those areas.

Since I was reviewing post yesterday in the steemkidss community, I didn't have much time for the studies hence during the night I denied myself sleep just to ensure that I make some research and studies.

Early in the morning I took my bath and left for Abuja. From Akwanga where I'm currently staying to Abuja is about 120 KM which is about 2 hours. To meet up with the time, I left my house at about 6:00 a.m., and then went by the road side to get a car because they car park may delay my movement.

I got a car and then we moved but I couldn't reach at the said time because of much traffic. I eventually reached the interview venue at about 9:30 a.m., but I was lucky those who are to interview us weren't ready because they were preparing for the entire thing and many other occasions.

We weren't much for the interview but interviewing a particular person took a lot of time. So those who came before me were called one after the other to come in and get interviewed and the spent atleast 1 hour plus in the interview.

So before I could be interviewed it was already some minutes pass the hour of 3 and when I was interviewed, I came out it was already some minutes to the hour of 5 so I hurridly went and then look for a car that was coming to Akwanga and then I arrived home at about 7:00 p.m.

I immediately took my bath and then checked through my blog and then ate. After eating I decided to rest my head on my bed and then write ✍️ this post on how I spent my day. This was how my entire day went today. I'm positive that I will be called upon soon if I scale through the interview. Your prayers and well wishes is appreciated dear friends.
