Today I was again busy with school infrastructure rehabilitation for the 2nd semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. In the early morning around 09:00 West Indonesia Time, I went to school for a while with the clothes I was wearing which were still pretty clean. But when I arrived at school I had to plant some flower stems, so without changing my clothes I did all this. Luckily there were some kids who stopped by to see me busy behind the school with my work. They came over and offered their help. I gladly accepted their offer to help with my work.

Planting Flowers in Pots

Some of their flower pots filled the soil and planted flowers as I directed them. Without me knowing they came suddenly which made my job short because of their help. For a long time they helped me in planting some flower stems in pots to finish.

Towards noon I also offered them to buy a drink at the shop because I felt sorry for them even though they never asked me for what they had done earlier. After buying makeshift drinks at the shop, I invited them to go home and I left school for a while and went home.

After lunch I went back to school. My goal this time was just to paint the big pot that surrounds the tree in the school yard. With the paint that has been provided by the principal's mother, I also do it. A moment later the children came again to me, this time another child came asking what I was doing while they offered to help me if I was willing. I also didn't forbid them to help me and didn't tell him to because the painting job was quite difficult, what else the children did, their clothes were covered in paint and their parents would be angry with them.

Yet a child still took a brush and painted the pot beside me. I just watched him silently even though in my heart I felt happy for the work to be done quickly, but I told him not to let the paint get on his clothes.

Towards the afternoon the principal's mother called me to wait for a while at school because there were several teacher desks that would be brought by the pedicab driver later. The headmaster asked me to take it down and put it in the office.

While waiting, finally the goods that were told arrived, which were followed by several other children who were none other than students from the school where I was on duty. Coincidentally, I also asked them to help me together in lowering and loading the teacher's desk items into the office.

After everything was finished, I also thanked the children who had been willing to come to help me in doing all my work from morning to evening with them taking turns.

Friends of @Steemkids that's my short diary on this occasion with my school children. We should always take care of our children as the nation's next generation and set a good example for them so that they can always respect and respect us. They are always ready to help us as long as the words we give are always gentle and appreciative. Thanks admin and all.
