Contest: Cultural similarities and differences

Greetings, dear friends. Welcome to this week's contest. Last week, we had a total of 16 contestants participating in the social studies learn and earn contest.
It was great reading of your different opinions on culture, its components, aspects, and characteristics.

As long as culture is concerned, there are definitely similarities in culture, differences and a lot more.

A lot of culture has similarities in areas like:

• Marriage,
• Respect for elders and rulers.
• Work of arts
• Trading etc

And also differences in

• Dressing
• Religion
• Greeting pattern
• Food
• Language, etc.

Now, let's hear from you by answering the following contest questions.

2. Explain the theory of cultural similarities.
3. Does your culture make you similar and different? Explain.
4. In a tabular format, list 5 similarities in the culture of any three ethnic groups in your country.
5. State 5 cultural differences in your country.
