Oral health as to with taking good care of our teeth and gums. It touches every aspect of our lives both young and old. Your mouth is a gate-way into the body, and also a verbal path-way which when it is controlled, you are legible to have free conversation with people without any obstruction. Oral health again or includes the ability to bite, chew, speak, smile, smell, taste, touch, and swallow. When your teeth smells and look good by been free from debris, it signifies a good oral health.
Poor oral health is prevalent mostly in children who lack good parental care and aged persons. I could recap my childhood age when my parents wasn't around us because of their nature of job that we were left under the supervision of my grandmother, there was alot of debris on my teeth untill when my mom settled and then took proper care of us especially orally. Because of how worse our oral conditions was, she choose to undergo some measures:

1. The use of charcoal and sand on the teeth
2. The use of chewing stick
3. The use of those substances on raffia's body to scrub the tongue
4. The use of tooth brush.

POSITIVE EFFECT OF GOOD ORAL HEALTH

  1. Whitened teeth
  2. Healthy jaws
  3. Sweet smells from the mouth.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF POOR ORAL HEALTH

  1. Tooth decay.
  2. Accommodation of debris
  3. Verbal obstruction
  4. Pains on the jaws

Some ways you can whiten and improve your oral health.
The above positive effect helps in whitening your teeth. Whitening your teeth too often increases the risk of negative side effects, such as tooth sensitivity and damage to tooth enamel and gums. But there's no official guideline for how often whitening can be done safely. But on the other hand you can still do it by following the above stated guidelines (The use of charcoal and sand. The use of chewing stick. The use of those substances on raffia's body to scrub the tongue).
OR,

  1. Quit smoking: Smoking causes the teeth to become dark because of the present of tar in cigarettes.
  2. Floss atleast once or twice a day.
  3. Brush twice or thrice (if possible) a day.
  4. Use fluoride toothpaste; example Oral-B.

To sum it up, ORAL-B is the best of all toothpastes. It contains two major components which is very good for my teeth. There are:

  1. Sodium fluoride and abrasives (Abrasives are rough materials present in the toothpastes that aid the toothbrush in scrubbing debris such as food particles and tar from the teeth.
  2. Calcium hydrogen phosphate (Calcium is an element that supplies strength to bones, joints, and teeth. Phosphate there is just like fertilizer consider what happens to plants whenever it is applied to, also it makes the teeth and the jaw to be rigid).
I therefore call on @Amplegeologist @Obrisgold @Mary241 @Victoriaxl to also take part in this contest. Thanks a million
