Competition: Street Vendors, Pakistan
Assalam u Alaikum,
Writing on this new and unique topic today is a new experience.
To buy daily necessities for living, we have to go to the market. And there we have to contact different types of shopkeepers. Sometimes a salesman comes to our doorstep selling things. This also makes it easier for us to buy things. This buying and selling becomes a means of advancing our lives. And it brings comfort and peace to our lives. Buying and selling the necessities of life is very important for us. These shopkeepers are some of us.
Whether they sell fruits, vegetables, or run a grocery store, open a medicine shop. It does not matter who is selling what. It is all about hard work. And
There is greatness in hard work.
** A peddler who sells things from door to door is working hard with both his life and his property. Even if we get an increase of 10 rupees in his product, we should not feel any harm in buying from him. Because be it cold or hot, this peddler has to go out of his house and carry his cart in every season. And if we are able to help him, it is better for him and for us. It will be better for him that when he has come out of the house to work, we buy his product. And it will be better for us that we do not have to go to the market.
And we can buy our desired product from him while sitting at home. Sometimes the peddlers do not have good quality products. It depends on us that what kind of product we buy from him. Or whether we give him the required money or not.
Have you ever been a street vendor?
There has never been a time in my life when I have sold anything to anyone. Especially, selling something standing on the street is not my destiny. Because the work that a person can do well, he steps forward here. I have never gained experience in selling anything. But I like buying things from those who are standing on the street and selling their things. And even just for the thought of helping them, I sometimes buy things that I don't even need. Because these people are respectable. Because they are not begging, but are earning a respectable bread. Now they do not feel any shame or embarrassment in it. A cleaner, a garbage collector, is also respectable in my eyes. Because he has made hard work his motto. Instead of spreading his hands and begging from others, and resorting to begging, he finds it better to earn a living with his own hands. And I like this from such people very much.
I would like to buy most
I mostly like to buy kitchen items. Because half of a woman's life is spent in the kitchen. So cooking good food for my children and my husband, getting drinks for them according to their taste is the first goal of my life. I try to go to the market and bring the best vegetables, fruits, food and drinks and fruit juices etc. so that my children and husband can eat with pleasure.
There is a saying that
** The way to the heart is through the stomach.
So a woman makes a way through the stomach to make a place in the hearts of others. And she makes a place in the hearts of people by cooking the best food.
Generally, a place should be provided to the seller of a product. Or it is better if he buys it himself and sets up his shop there. But some people do not have enough capital to afford a place for a shop. Therefore, under compulsion, they sell their products on the road. If we understand their compulsion, then this method will not be wrong, that they are selling their products freely. But for those living in a society, this thing is a cause of trouble. Because it plays a very important role in blocking traffic and the road. Those who set up a stall of their products and stand on the side of the road, their products are sold, but their loss is greater. Because dust, dirt, and grime are also harmful to their own health. While germs and dust are also falling on their products. Apart from this, people coming and going also have to face trouble. Because they set up their shop in a government property that was a passageway. This makes the road narrow for the pedestrians to pass through. And the standard of cleanliness is lost. Often, teams are allocated by the government and those who set up stalls in this way have to pick up and pack up their stalls because all of this is illegal and illegal encroachment. But our society is a society of poor people, so the poor do not have enough money to take their proper place and set up their shop there.
Therefore, out of compulsion, they stand on the road with their goods so that they can earn a few rupees and provide comfort to their families. Everything has two sides, a good one and a bad one.
If there is good in shopkeeping, then there is no harm in standing on the road and selling. If the people of the society do not feel cramped, then this also becomes a part of the culture.
