CONCURSO : 🔎MI PERSONAJE LITERARIO FAVORITO// SHERLOCK HOLMES. 🔎
Hello friends of #steemit I hope you are having a much better time than me, a virtual hug from a distance that is loaded with good energy, although I am not having a good time at all, I always try to keep my spirits up although it is not easy, no really it is not, and I feel that I have to stay strong, I feel that I have to keep my spirits up, but it is not easy at all, this year has not been the best, it has been a year of real personal challenges, I lost important loved ones (my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law), plus I lost my job as well as my husband, and the only source of income I have left are the platforms and in them the matter is not going well either, even so, I remain firm in my decision to go ahead with the creation of original content, and this is no exception, my post is aimed at carrying out the initiative created by @yolvijrm to write about my favorite literary character and here I go.
Although I wasn't taught the habit of reading at home, I love reading, so I've read a lot since I was a child, although never like my husband who is a book devourer. When I saw this initiative the same thing happened to me as with the other initiative in which I participated, it was very easy for me to decide who I would talk about in my post, because if it is about good literature I love the author Sir Arthur Conan Dolyle who although in his beginnings was dedicated to the Medina his great passion was writing, and although he wrote plays, novels, among other genres, his fame is undoubtedly due to my favourite character Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character about whom fifty-six (56) short stories were written and believe it or not in addition to four (4) incredible novels which I got to read in their entirety, enjoying every letter, every word, why I loved this character.

Sherlock Holmes is a turn-of-the-century detective with a superior intelligence, and in every case he investigates he brings out his keen sense of observation and reasoning, a trait I love is the masterful way in which this character uses the scientific method, making it seem so commonplace that it seems anyone could use it.

I feel identified with this character because of his eccentricity, also because I am very passionate about police investigation, now, if we talk about my great passion which is psychology, I feel that what I like most about this character is his psychological profile, Sherlock Holmes is a sociopath, he is a being who doesn't like to relate to other people, that is to say he is asocial, he does not respect the rules, he loves to solve crimes although he does not do it to look for benefits to anybody if not that he does it to kill the annoyance and as personal challenges and I am faithful lover of the solution of cases of police investigation, always I watch television programs of resolution of crimes which from the beginning I analyze them until looking for and giving with the culprit.
When I see this character I feel that he makes me develop critical thinking, also and this I must say, sadly strengthens in me the desire to isolate myself from society (I'm still working on this), another feature that I love about this character is the agility he has to develop mental agility in those who read his stories, who read him for the first time will find in him, a huge source of psychological resources that well used can make us a person of success and mental acuity.

If I had to change one trait of Sherlock Holmes it would definitely be how asocial and unbalanced this character can be, and I would do it because he can simply be irritating to some people, and obviously his addiction to cocaine and morphine which are very harmful to health, although of course if I changed it he would probably not be the same, so let's leave him as he is, with his brilliant mentality, with his sharp mind that makes him a character out of the ordinary.
If I had the opportunity to have a meeting with him (which I would enjoy to the fullest) and if there was the remote possibility of having a conversation, I would break the ice by giving him a beautiful pipe with a good Venezuelan tobacco that I am sure he would enjoy in every puff of air, once the ice was broken I would ask him if in every adventure in which he embarked he thought about the danger they could bring both to him but above all to his faithful friend Dr. Watson, and of course I would ask him if he thought about the danger they could bring both to him but above all to his faithful friend Dr. Watson, and of course I would ask him if he thought about the danger they could bring to him but above all to his faithful friend Dr. Watson. Watson, and of course I would ask him if he loved this one.

What fun this hypothetical meeting must be, hahaha but as it is not possible, I can only continue to enjoy such a delicious cocktail of arrogance, irresponsibility, loneliness, which make this my favourite character, and every time I can I go back to meet him through his books.
I hope you liked my post today, and that it serves as an incentive for others to read him if they don't know him and get to enjoy a good detective adventure.
